I love how despite the fact that you’re talking about how it’s harder to hit the low and away pitches and that the PCI is smaller, you hit bombs off of them every time 😂
I sit high fastball, its easier to slow down for an away slider than to speed up for an up and in fastball (at least on hall of fame which is where I spend most of my time)
I thought i was the only one who noticed the occasional mistake pitch left over the middle of the plate.. once i started just waiting for somethin in the middle of the zone instead of being so anxious to hit, im batting .376 (only 8hr) with 100hits on about 60 games playing on max difficulty
The thing that can change the PCI size in games is the pitchers confidence with that pitch, and the batters swing input. Contact swing gives the largest size of all, Norrmal swing will be smaller than contact, but bigger than power, and power is the smallest. As a pitcher does good in a game with a pitch, it will raise his pitch confidence, which will shrink the batters PCI when swinging at the pitch. As the pitcher does bad in a game with a pitch, it will lower his pitch confidence, which will increase the size of the batters PCI when swinging at that pitch. It doesn't increase or decrease based on location. It might appear like it is doing that in games if you don't know what effects the PCI. Even sitting in practice on rookie, the pitches still have confidence.
I always leave my pci in the center and slightly move it a bit like if im up to bat in real life then I react off the hand once released…never look at the ball mid way lol
I have a habit of sitting on damn near all pitches until 2 strikes, some friends hate playing against ne and some love playing on my teams if we play 3v3 my teammates feel like they can swing and hit any pitch thrown ad lokg as im the guy to sit there and grind out a 7 8 pitch AB
Now for people to execute this 😅. When I play online I almost always wait for 2 strikes its a great strategy to wear out pitchers and force middle pitches. But man you have to have patience. 98% of people today have ZERO patience so it's easier said than done.
It's as simple of just holding the button longer, this was happening to me and I literally just calmed down a little bit and haven't had the problem since 😂

Pretty much look for meatballs only until 2 strikes then protect. You get rewarded a lot more if you swing at mistakes instead of trying to hit everything that’s a strike
@@stayfresh051 also i’ve been using the 2-strike method. Do NOT swing unless you no doubt know it’s coming down the middle or you have a 2 strike count. You will see your batting improve drastically. Just discipline your thumbs
Bro there’s not a single RU-vidr that’ll actually say how to actually get better at hitting and when I mean better I mean top player caliber at least, they all make their commercials ass videos all saying the same in a different way or whatever and some of them do touch on some important points but nonetheless I’ll still keep it a secret I guess or maybe not…
This only works for CPU. And playing on rookie like this scrub. If you play online, nobody throws middle middle pitches once your over like 200-300 skill points.
@frenchk4nuck any good pitcher is going to throw different pitches in the same tunnel, working all 4 corners. Sit middle middle online and your ass will get no hit 😭😂
