I supported a big data application for one year. Without knowing it’s data engineering under big data I did gave support.. I saw it as just another syntax… nothing big… used the below tech stack.. Hadoop environment Hdfs Yarn Spark sql module Scala Shell Kafka Crontab scheduler Casssndra, gcp tables other dbs as well Last point, gcp bucket is better than Hadoop environment… after all google is the actual creator of big data concept…
