Hey, for anyone checking in post patch 14.3 I'm going to keep the Nidalee build up to date in this pinned comment! Build is currently unchanged despite lots of nerfs towards Stormsurge/Hextech Alternator. I'm keeping an eye for stats on other items and protobelt is looking promising, but may have an elevated win rate due to a few diehard Nidalee players that don't like changing itemization. Will update this thread if anything new comes up and looks to be the new king for items!
Do you full clear with Nidalee at the start? How much should i farm? I find myself with very low cs when playing her because i feel like I'm too strong to not participate fights in early. also how do you deal with objevtives? When i start them and the enemy jungle contest its really hard for me to fight them, because nidalee it's at her best when she is the one engaging
Great questions! I think that for the most part it’s best to just full clear on any jungler this season, there are timings to 3 camp but only if the enemy jungler is playing too aggressively and needs to be invaded or countered. You should try to clear fairly often, farming is why it’s important to not die on Nidalee. Need to keep up that tempo to not lose the farming game, in good games I usually average 7-8cs/m for reference. You need to start objectives when you either have priority lanes or when the enemy jungler is on the other side of the map. You’re correct that Nidalee doesn’t win many fights once objectives are started, especially against the meta junglers that gap close to you easily.
You briefly mentioned the conqueror/rod/ice born build, what items would you recommend building into after that? Saw a different video about it and don’t know what item options she has after the rod/iceborn core
I think that rod may not be necessarily core, I'm going to put some games in and try to figure out what items are best for that bruiser build this season. I'll 100% post a video abt it in the coming week or so. I don't want to comment and be wrong about anything so I'll do ground research and get it into a video format for you, king.
I prefer the conqueror page into teams that are heavy melee or ones where you struggle to get spears off. As the season changes conqueror may become to go to page in general if the one shot or get one shot meta falls off. It was my go to on Nidalee last season for most games.
Hi, I sometimes build Horizon Focus as a third or forth item on Nid it often saves my life when I hit spear and I want to jump in but it reveals that there is a whole team there, idk if it is a tood choice tho
