You should try the ancient mace looks cool and hardly costs stamina. It deals good damage to most things specially rock dog things. So you just take one weapon to the iron fields or brimestone.
I mean.. There's so many caveats with this build. Temporary armor, temporary thralls with low dmg/regen, max corrupt, low health, low stam, low overall damage. All of this for fast healing, or "immortal"? It's a neat showcase of synergies, but it is super niche. Jack of all trades, master of none in a sense.
Why double dip into both vitality and grit? You can have grit maxed out, making it so 25% of your max hp dmg input. Get 5 into vit for the regen and be at max corruption. And there you go. Max health of about 75, making it so that 18.75 is the max amount of damage you receive. 1hp per sec for the regen perk or a piece of food for 2-10 hp/s and you can heal as fast (3 seconds slower but still), if not faster than the glutten perk. Bonus, no more 1 shots and you can still spec into strength or agility for damage output.
@@nicholasrypien8568 that's true. All I'm saying is that there is no good reason to double dip into both grit and vit. You have to choose, either be mega tanky vs everything but have the stamina of a geriatric person, or be 1 shot immune with easy healing but bleed like a pig. I find that corrupt authority helps a bunch more with grit tank rather than vit tank. So I prefer that and going with 3 zoms with me. Keeps me topped off even if I take bleed or poison.
@@sumoslamer180 I gotcha. I've been testing various thrall builds and so far I'm getting more survivability out of 20-9 in authority. That allows my thralls to heal up faster between fights but still give them a damage boost during combat. Not sure if I'm sticking with it or not though. It seems to work better in my experience, but just doesn't have that overall S tier power I'm looking for. Unless it is and I'm just not used to the changes yet.
What are the stats on the gear for your "hit like a thrall" video? Aspect of the wolf(brothers), heavy dragonbone chest, black knight legs, serpant gloves /etc
I just reinstalled this game today. Is this build still good? I seen some talk of nerfing that abyssal armor but not sure if that was before or after this video.
personally I think it's much easier to play without any corruption because the stamina gets really low, zombies are not very strong they die easily. for auth build I think it's better without corruption, with corruption thralls heal us without corruption they heal themselves (much easier to keep them alive) also the armor is really good, but it lasts 1 hour basically worthless it's the time I take just from going from my base to wherever I need to go
love your videos sparky, yours and wak's but.. if they release this to live in 3 months, everyone would have lost interest in the game allready. hope we don't wait too long for the official release.

About stamina issue i found out that if you use balanced upgrade from the thinker and the third perk of agility massively increase stamina management in a fight Also when you use a short sword 2 things 1: heavy thurst attack have a follow up combo of 5 light attack that just wreck anything and everything 2: use the fencer upgrade for maximum dmg output
I like this, seems very fun. The only issue i have with the passive health regen is that it just outright doesnt work in combat, its really annoying that it doesnt work in combat. Makes it feel worthless. Its just a quality of life thing than anything properly useful(keep in mind i am NOT referring to glutton) I know there is a PVP community and if 1.5 hp regen per second seems THAT "op". Just remove it while in pvp combat, its not that hard(would be the same code they use for it to turn off and on right now just specific to a player doing damage to you rather than anything doing damage to you). But keep the regen in PvE combat As a side note unrelated to the attributes. With the sorcery armor being good. I feel like they should buff the other armor sets, since they said they want to give you the player more agency and less reliance on thralls, but that hasnt really changed much, especially in the case of dealing damage, killing just skeletons in the unnamed city, even with max agility and using one of the highest dps agility weapons still takes quite a long time. So it would be nice if they made it so that in the higher end of gear and stats you're actually feeling powerful at LEAST against non boss enemies. An idea for buffing weapons/armor could be have different bonuses on them for if you give them to your thrall vs if you equip them yourself. For example, "Example Mace": Gives Players Wielding +18% strength, +18% weapon damage. Gives Thralls Wielding +9% strength, +9% weapon damage. Not exactly these numbers but just to get the concept across of giving the players more agency while not also buffing thralls as a consequence passively
Yeah it’s funny they want to have us not rely on thralls but nerf stat bonuses on some armor and remove all stat bonuses on weapons and shields. Also, yeah passive regen is annoying because it has that stupid delay. You mention a regen change with pvp, I just wish they’d stop nerfing all the weapons and make weapons have separate damage for ai and players.
regen is nice when youre good at not taking a hit, perfect if you know how to kite or if you use a shield, make it truly op with a regen build capable to outheal the red mother... wich i have the build here is ok also, what was the weapon you used to kill thoses skeleton in the unamed city?
@@TheCosmicAstro- sword of the grey one is a strength weapon. with the short sword of the grey one using your setup i kill fantoms and skeleton in seconds using the short sword combo (heavy thurst attack followed by a spamming of light attacks) would be even better if i wasn't naked
It's worse than I thought. Funcom has made it so there are no reasons to not be a sorcerer. The perks and benefits are too strong. It doesn't look like there are any down sides as a solo player. Barbarian types are hung out to dry in a Conan game... It fits perfectly in this up side down world that we live in.. Conan despised magic and sorcerers.. So what do barbarian types have that sorcerers do not? I want to see abilities, weapons and armor that are only available to the non corrupted. It should be a major choice to go down the sorcerer path. And there should be things exclusive to both sides.
@@Firespark81 So where are the exclusive abilities for non sorcerer types? Where are the building set pieces that give powerful items and armor that are for non corrupted only? Don't you have to be a sorcerer to learn the thrall reroll potion? And powerful thralls, demons, and mounts only available to sorcerers only.. No. It seems what I said is true.
Don't worry, it's just how Funcom does things. They always make new stuff they add to the game really OP. Then those become meta and everybody uses only those until Funcom eventually but inevitably nerf them to the ground. So just play with the sorcery and sorcery stuff as long as those are worth something, they don't let us keep our shiny new toys forever.
@@filopat67 This is exactly what I'm talking about. I love new content but there needs to be balance. They gave no thought to add anything for people that don't want to be a sorcerer. Where are the warrior abilities? And why do I have to be an evil sorcerer and sacrifice everyone I see just to be more powerful? Where are the heroes? Why are they forcing everyone to be so bloodthirsty and evil? What? No love for the Barbarians in a Conan game?
"Thrall's being nerfed to the ground is good, because I want to be the hero of my story!" - says the guy running with 3 zombies with up to 11k vit each, that negate half of his damage, in a ridiculously op armor. See the inconsistency?
Dude and in pvp if u kill them u get no reward and the owner can replace them with no work, and the zombies don't got up to 11k hp each , the relic hunters can have up to 18k each
I had zombies for my current build which is more damage focused for myself personally, and I found that zombies are a bti of a pain to keep around... they only hit for ~150 damage each, and hit fairly slow at that... They burn through meat like nobody's business and their passive health regen is super slow. Right now I've got 3 Greater Sabertooths at lvl 11 each, all 3 have ~5500-6000 life (got the perk that gives thralls +20 attributes) and they each hit for over 500 and don't burn through meat nearly as fast as the zombies, and have pretty decent armor as well. My only gripe with the sabers is they don't seem to be affected by salted pork or elixir of might. I've got a few relic hunter treasure seekers that i'll deck out and give salted pork + elixir of might and compare them at 20 vs sabers at 20 once i get them all leveled up.
you will need to first gain corruption min 20% , you will then need to preform a soul drain ritual on a sacrificial stone to obtain soul essence you can then go and corrupt your perks in the perk menu, Note : only Strength , Authority and Vitality can be corrupted , it takes 60 soul essences to corrupt all 3 stats
I feel like they could have made 2 types of summoned armor a Dexterity one and a strength one just to give more options yano maybe added more demons such as the super demons and other races from the outer dark and even demon gods that you can subjugate or make a pact with like in actual conan lore
I mean without nerfing it they could boost the existing legendary armor in the game just by adding additional bonuses to them same with some of the legendary weapons as they do begin to feel weak once you have a t4 thrall to craft them same with legendary armor you get from around make the legendary stuff seem more worth while rather then changing them just a little to suit the attribute change
No... you cannot even move it from your inventory unless you put it on. Same with the Abyssal weapons. It is for you and you alone. I tried making a set for a clan member and I couldn't drop it on the ground, in a bench, or a chest. They do not even allow someone other than the summoner to take it off the demon when you summon it.
@@BahamutEx It rather demonstrates the big issue I have with the Sorcery thus far; everything is temporary. I understand with raise undead being temporary because they are level 20 once you raise them up and it is really OP you can have so many following you, but summoning a demon that is level 0 and a Steed (Rhino or Horse) that is level 0 that actually level up while you use them is a bit ridiculous when they just vanish after a timer expires. Why not have them at level 20 if they expire? You literally have to have a circle of power on the ground and reagents to summon them, so if you are out in the world with your demon/steed and it expires you are now on foot. You can't even give them something to extend their timer. When they do expire, any thralls near them attack them and kill them too...just weird.
There is something good but also bad in this 3.0. I hate that y can't get atribute point from armor weapons or warpaint. But atribute tree and perk system is lot better. But armors and weapons mostly lot their normal reason of like 12 more atribute points. Now not even best armors seem so op y God breaker gives larger armor but. But rest of the stats seem mah. When are y doing armor / weapons vid and but new zombies agains followers.
They're not going to buff "other armor" when they can just nerf TF out of this one... They've proven that in literally EVERY update/patch ever. Funcom are nerf devs, through and through. Also, This is an impressive build, and I'm curious to see how it would function with normal armor, I'm not big on consumable gameplay.. I like a perma-stat type of build. Finally, this is probably the first bit of optimism i've experienced concerning 3.0... I dread it to the point that I'm likely to just uninstall the game when it releases, but I'm hoping that it improves before official release. By improve, I mean a lot of things, from the BP to the nerfs to the spells.. it needs a lot of work... And I'm afraid that funcom not on the same page as the players, which never goes in our favor.
If you're not going 10 in authority you should go 20 and 10 or 19 corrupted imo. Also the 20 point talent in grit never comes into play if you're running heavy armor. If you're gonna run the 20 talent for vitality you need the poison/sunder immunity otherwise if you get poisoned you're just gonna regen at most 5 health over 15 seconds over and over, even worse against bleeds. So really you could free up 15 points that arent really doing anything for you which you could put in strength since you're already around 50% health for berserk and you dont have to rely on abyssal armor low weight.
make zerkers zombies your looking at 9-11k hp no other thrall is worth converting they die easy the dmg multiplier doubles once they convert to a zombie so the zerker still having the most dps in its multiplier it makes sense to just convert them still strongest thrall in game now as tiemos is a mere peasant peasent
@@Firespark81 im not on about the hp u get i mean the actual damage they output is down to the thrall u place in the dirt and trust me with all the testing ive done with the 3.0 update being someone who's got nearly 2k in pvp and knows that meta or used to before this and every thrall u can convert I've done multiple times and the zerker from exiled not siptah is the king for damage output when converted no other thrall does the same dmg check it out for yaself sometime :P
teleport stones can be used for undermesh stashes there broken the lightning storm is also pretty broken u can now easily grief someone in there base just by casting the spell outside there base even out of raid time it still will kill actual players inside there base and the damage that spell does to buildings during raid hours would also be silly i wiped a decent sized t3 and t2 build in single player with 4-5 casts yeah there expensive but not as much grind as a god would be and also id say they do god damage cast 3 or 4 times a lot will need tweaking on funcom's end so sorcery just wont work though takes too long to get to the spell and if you actively fighting is gg for you and back to ya bedroll u go xD
I plan to test many thralls as zombies to see damage once I can do it easier with mods or have an updated dev kit. As for broken stuff, this is test live. Report it and hold being angry until it is actual on the live branch.
Well thanks I was making a build almost identical to this, but now they gonna nerf it XD That aside, I hate how they tell us we can max out 3 attributes.... but that's only true if one of those is Expertise because of how crappy the default encumbrance is. T_T I hope that changes.
said what? i can wear god breaker set and executionner helm with 0 expertise and im at 43 (33% with second skin) encumbrance with lifeblood spear... max out str. each point give +3 encumbrance and use armor reduction kit on each part aside from that you will maybe need 1 or 2 points in expertise so you can travel with stuff and keep your light load
Shield upgraded dura, 10 Javelins, short sword with fencer upgrade (both are dex based) 15 vit +15 corrupt, 20 dex 20 grit 5 exp For armor aquilonian armor + comander helmet and chestplate with armor reduction... Congrat you are now immune to, bleed, poison, sunder, disease, gas, sandstorm. you have 1,5 hp regen/sec, 30/25 armor pen (55/50 after a roll)... Did i also mentioned youre equiped with ranged and mele weapon and you run faster and always have ~60% dmg negation as well as 418hp. oh... Star metal shield will have 13k dura And star metal short sword will have 138 base dmg... Get those backstabs, you can even poison the sword Here you go... Aquilonian themed build
@@Firespark81 personally i could not care less for pvp and it's forced "balance" that all players have to endure. I'm sure a mod will fix it for the non pvp crowd, as those timers make no sense, even for pvp.
PVP is like half the game though? It never was balanced around it and it feels absolutely garbage ever since beta, but fking over other players is a core part of the pvp server experience, which is more than half of the gamemodes.
@@hiiambarney4489 Sadly that is true, i play mostly PVE and i think there is alot of content for PVE, but since they have to balance things for PVP the game became very limited in things you can do.
How does this build hold up in pvp? And now, post update? It's a curious build but I think Strength is too important for pvp, with Authority not really being worth it
Heck of a build but i have to question the 5 points in expertise. Would it not be better to max authority and get 2 followers to split the damage you recieve?
@@metronomo6154 I have 2 Zerkers with about 4k health each so was thinking of just using them. They tank 3 skulls (scorp) ok - both down to half health with zero buffs. But that's with them tanking and me sitting back watching with no Frenzy, no heals and no dps from me. Should be interesting
The followers don't split the damage between them. They just both take the full damage. Like, if you get hit for 100 damage, then you will take 50, and both of your followers will take 50.
i see a death game. I play this days last time this game. when 3.0 starts i uninstall it for the final time forever :/ It start 2014 and end 2022 with the worst update ever. R.I.P Conan Exiles
I've played this since the early access, and I'm curious to know why you think it's the worst update, I do agree that instead of launch new content they should focus on stabilize the game, the games is pretty most the same as the one on early access
Zombies destroy everything and you can't die. Not sure how that's not good. Also this is the wrong channel for pvp content. If my content helps with pvp then great but I don't really care about it so I don't make content for it.
This update is absolutely horrible for pvp, best armor doesn't drop when killing so no reward for killing people so not worth killing people, added 2 many followers that don't drop any piece of equipment upon death, just annoying, the zombies can be 3 and follow you around and they have up to 12k hp and they have no equipment to get off them, you don't to grind leveling them up and you also don't need to wait for them to craft, thralls will be absolutely horrible in pvp, so if I'll kill a thrall there'll be no damage 👎 update
@@hunterstephon5299 the abyssal armor (aka the best armor in the game ATM) also the abyssal bow and hammer delete upon death, so you can't get them when u kill someone

there's 3 modes for a reason Pvp, Pve-C and Pve. Stick to being pve content and don't speak for the pvp community. nobody agrees with you but the pve players.
What an absolutely terrible and narrowminded take, thank christ you're not a game developer. You don't have to make a build like this. I've been playing forever and having new options is a godsend.
@@chrantheman its not about the product. The product is good. Glitchy and in desperate need of refinement and debugging, but content and gameplay is well established. Its about the management of said product and the business practice of nearly all online rpg games these days. Money money money money. Exploit exploit exploit exploit.
