I´m not gonna lie, Harrison has a bewitching personality but what got me is the way he speaks about being a lifeguard, like this guy really ended up doing what he wished for as a kid. That´s amazing! I´m same age and still overthinking if I should keep on my current lifepath. Thanks for this cool interview

Spot on Mariana - we were the same, sometimes it feels like we are still trying to figure it out. He was born to do what he does, and it shines through. As nice a guy as you'll ever meet as well 💯🏖 And if there is anything we've learnt doing this podcast, life is short so you need to be doing things that are fulfilling. I saw Harrison a year past in July outside the lifeguard tower patrolling the beach, then singlets was driving about on the rhino and i was sitting on the sand having my lunch, and just like Harrison, i hate litter louts so i took all my litter with me and put it in the bin and i still love watching Bondi Rescue and will visit again next time i go on holiday ❤❤❤

I'm in the US and found Bondi Vet on youtube...I immediately became addicted. A couple years later I found Bondi Rescue and, again, became addicted. What I don't understand is how the Aussies make such great TV out of such ordinary (sometimes tragic) subjects.

I love hearing all of Harrison's great stories and seeing his passion in everything he talks about! Being able to be a lifeguard and being able to be cool and collected in situations that are beyond stressing is so inspiring! My father was a paramedic and I grew up hearing his stories about what he would have to do on the daily and it blew my mind. Sending out all the love and support for all the lifesavers out there! Great podcast!

Enjoyed this guys, Harrison is a cool dude. I used to live on a beach in Cyprus, swam everyday, then was a club swimmer for a time in the UK, cliff dived in the North sea in bonnie Scotland every year, did life saving courses etc.. never heard about float to survive, rips were something i didn't hear about in all that time either, until Bondai rescue came along. Madness!

Oh, I'd give anything to be a lifeguard on Bondi Beach. But unfortunately I live on the other side of the world.😭😭 I have been watching Bondi Rescue since I was 8 years old and it always fascinates me how quickly rescuers react and save lives! But knowing that my parents would never consider it a real job and that most lifeguards are boys is so sad. I really hope there were more girl lifeguards. I cannot subscribe to Bondi Rescue due to lack of $! But I would like to know about the other lifeguards. I watched before Harrison became a lifeguard! Always wondered about his family! There was a great tribute to Terry after his death from cancer! I’m curious about the other young lifeguards, where are they, how are they, how have they used the experiences they faced in their life today? Call me nosy, but their bravery….. Wow! It really astonish me that people really go swimming in oceans when they cant swim. not saying you can't drown even if you can swim. And float to reserve energy has always been one of the first things to taught in Finland. Like water floats are used for new swimmers for a reason.

I got to visit Bondi in February and it was amazing, and everyone was so nice. I accidentally soaked a compression bandage I was wearing on my calf and one of he life guards wrapped me up, and that compression wrap lasted 3 days… can’t wait to go back.

Bro he actually changed my entire life path, this interview, I was gonna be a preschool teacher in Denver, but now I’m gonna be a lifeguard at bondi, even if it’s the last thing I do lol.
