The first time I played TS2 Pets, I created an elderly lady with six cats all named Billy. I didn't know about scratching posts, and she didn't have any money to spare. All the cats lined up at her bed and took turns scratching it until it was a pile of lumber and she had nowhere to sleep.
NOOOOOOO NOT THE CATS!!! This happened to me a lot back in the day and I had no idea why, turns out finicky pets only want to eat out of fancy bowls and are such divas they'd rather starve themselves than eat out of a plastic bowl.
The house is giving huge vibes of the rhombus house from The Sims 1, that's separated into 4 rooms with pink flamingos outside, probably the campiest house ever created by the sims team. I'm convinced it was the main inspiration behind it

I was in Florida for a friend’s housewarming party and bought him a pair of pink flamingos from a local garden center as a housewarming gift. They’re huge & very realistic with glass eyes, needless to say he loved them! I also got a pair for myself -even though I live in a NYC apartment. I want to illuminate them and put one in each living-room window for gay pride in a few months. I’d be lying if I said Juno’s garden in “The Sims” didn’t influence me more than just a bit! 🦩🦩
Omg I love how you made a classic dysfunctional Sims 1 Style house and basically shamelessly abused the most intense colorful maximalist 90s/00s/70s fusion carpet and wall patterns and the weirdest furniture. And then making the social bunny a part of your household sent me. 10/10 content. You are my favorite living Sim. You embody the chaos of the original game decor and I am HERE!!!!!!!!!!

The only version of Sims 2 Pets I own is the Wii one. Not only is it more chaotic, but there WILL be piss and shit EVERYWHERE. No matter how many boxes you put down, they will CONSTANTLY DO IT. Only way you can get them to stop is by scolding them, and sometimes it causes them to pee even more 🤣😭
