My OSO recruited me and I never saw him again. I went to and graduated from OCS in 1982. I thank him for giving me the opportunity. He was not there to babysit me.

You must be between 17-29 years old to enlist. Some waivers are available; a Marine Recruiter or Officer Selection Officer is the best person to determine if your circumstances warrant a special waiver.
So, if I have a bachelor's in criminal justice and decided I want to become an officer. Can I go straight to officer training or do I have to go through the four years then training? I believe I already know the answer but I wanna make sure
If you have a 4 year degree, all you have to do is go find an OSO and talk to them. Get a good PFT and they can send your paperwork through pretty quick if you have no extenuating medical problems.
