You inspired me Day. The first time I was introduced to you was your home labs! I was just starting out in cybersecurity myself and wanted to do red team and I bumped into your how to set up kali Linux. From there I joined your discord and everything was up from there. Pretty excited to see where else your journey will take you!

Hi Day, Thanks for the great video. I wish I had come across your videos at the beginning of my cyber journey. They are very insightful and provide a great view of what is happening out there in the cyber space. Keep creating content, you rock.
In Spain if you haven't got a college degree, nowadays you won't get a job... you can have a CCNA, MSCA, LPIC-3, OracleDBA... whatever. Useless without an official degree signed by the king. I used to be a System & Networks Technician for 12 years... until enterprises started asking for degrees. I've been *unemployed* the last 17 years because of that. I gave up after applying to 800+ offers without a single answer or interview in 17 years. Also got sick of the extremely low salaries in IT in Spain: even real engineers struggle to go over €30K after a decade working. My best salary in those 12 years was €25K in 2006. Then I got fired. 2008 Global Financial Crisis ended in 2015 here, and destroyed all my chances to work again. Ageism is huge in this country.
13:09 when you say, they called you with an offer, what does this mean? Because I've been doing hourly pay my whole life and looking to transfer over. But I keep hearing the word offer and finally decided to ask.
Hey bro do you think it would be smarter to get the cyber security degree from Wgu or the cloud practitioner (i believe that’s what it’s called) but I’m starting Wgu soon and I’m kind of torn in between the 2 atm.
I was in your place. The cyber ecurity degree is a lot more challenging and involves more certs. It will benefit a lot, but I personally chose the azure cloud track from WGU and I'll get my security stuff on my own. Just some advice from someone in the same spot as you.
@@kqb2166 thanks homie I’m supposed to be starting wgu in December but lately I’ve been studying everyday so i can get ahead.. i wanna take my comp Tia A+ so i can try to get a help desk job
@@kqb2166 yea I’m currently doing the professor messer RU-vid course i haven’t checked out the Jason course on udemy tho…i feel like my biggest problem is i always think I’m taking too much notes haha and then I’m like hmm did i need to write all this lol but thank you i really appreciate your help !!
I understand multiple interviews but at this point I think these jokers need to start paying applicant for their time for anything over 2 interviews.... Way to many people are saying they went through 4 rounds of interviews and wasn't even followed up with about if they got the job or not so 45 minutes x 4 should run you a cool $200 minimum
