Correction: The Alien Grunts are most likley Vortiguants who were given severe augmentation by the Alien Controllers for the Nihilanths army, they are basically programed to be super soldiers with human like battle tactics The ones who make sure the Vortiguants are enslaved are the Controllers Also the Gun they have is a called a Hivehand
Alien grunt user will hide behild the wall form next to room and shoot hive gun(if hostile have high level gun) with you not get shoot by gun for survivor if you hidden perfect if hostile come to the point thatyou hide you have to come out and attack them directly
Also it has a charge attack I don't think you know so if you press r while using alien grunt you will charge it does no damage but makes you faster for a little bit.
