My daughter has been diagnosed with Autism and now it's looking like my son is going to be diagnosed "officially" with Autism shortly. We are waiting to hear about getting genetic testing done per the Pediatric Neurologist's referral. Pretty overwhelmed these days. How did you cope in the beginning? It is incredibly difficult.

I love your honest vlogs, all your kids.👍 You seem to tell us straight out how everything is. But I need to ask.. In this vlog and I have thought about it before too.. You choose to talk about Noah when he is present.. Problematic stuff,how he would behave, how he was when you visited this other family, and things like that. I have worked with grown ups with autism before, that couldn't speak. But we knew they understood so much of what we said, probably everything. So we made sure never to talk about them right in front of them. I'm sure you are the expert on Noah, but why do you feel it is ok to talk about Noah and his issues right in front of him?. When he interacts with you like he do, and is able to talk... I think it is a important thing to think about, if it's a good idea to talk about him like that? right infront of him? You choose to do this, and I hope you think it's ok to ask about this. You are his parents, so you know how he reacts to this, so maybe you know he wouldn't be sad, or care.. I don't know.

Our LANDing Crew ok. thank you for answering me❤ I have watched a few more vlogs of your too now.. And in one of them you actually talked about that you allways ask him if he think it's ok to put the stuff you film on RU-vid. I had to smile cos there I got my answer really. I'm all for telling how your life are dealing with autism so don't get me wrong👍 Every autistic kid or grown up, are so unique, and it's right to let them shine so people can see how precious they are. Not like in the old days when people with special need was hidden away. It was the part about his integredy I worried a bit about.. But offcourse, you probably need to share every side of this, or nothing in a way, for people to see how life is with Noah and autism. I am very impressed that you manage to homeschool him on top of everything you have to deal with.. Be careful you don't burn yourself all out🙏. He seems to function were well I think, he understand so much and interact a lot too.. That's a blessing, cos not every autistic people manage that very well. But, offcourse, I see your struggles too, don't get me wrong.❤ Are you able to send him away sometimes, to rest a bit for yourself? i hope so❤Love from Marte in Norway

Hi! Just came over to your channel from Fathering Autism!! Noah is the coolest! My daughter was born with Cornelia De Lange Syndrome. She's 31 years old. Mentally about 12. Emotionally about 7,she has alot of behavior difficulties. She lives in a group home and attends day support. Her name is Nicole. Just subscribed to your channel!! 😄
