Dan is amazing in his role as Lagerfeld. I've been hooked from the very second. Watching it in original language. He's just magnificent. Many Germans are complaining about the cast though, as Dan doesn't apparently look like Lagerfeld at all. If we continue to nitpick at anything, they'll soon give way to AI. And then all pure and great, emotional acting will be gone forever. Thanks to everyone whining around. Dan is the perfect Lagerfeld!
I thought I’d never watch the whole series but I was hooked from the beginning. The acting is excellent. I learnt a lot about the human Karl Lagerfeld I didn’t know!
Starts today? Ok i loved Ewan in Halston and as a german and fan of both, Karl from my town Hamburg and Daniel as a very kind and zero arrogant actor…lets give it a chance.
great actors and a great series. a very special relationship the two had, a lot of drama, loneliness. So Karl sabotaged Jacques' checkered one to get it for himself
Why do they play Glass Heart in every fashion movie biopic trailer…okay maybe just house of Gucci. But still there were other popular songs during his rise to fashion stardom
Great series and great acting. One thing that i just find odd is when Karl and his mother speak german in the english version it is very bad spoken German. And the real Karl spoke very well german with an hansian accent. That for me is not a good detail
