If you do vanity in the inventory that is beside select so it’s not gray, it disappears but the buff is still there. It’s free and can be used with other items. Edit: with the new update, you can now equip stats then equip a different hat.

Its like amm you drink the potion that muzan gives to u then there are 2 chances it's kinda like 50% 50% u can be a demon or fail and not becoming a demon, u will need to do his quest over again.
