Last week was the 2023 CHL/NHL prospects combine and Connor Bedard did not perform as a generational prospect would be expected to. In this video we'll look at what that means and should we re-define what it means to be a good skater?
Should they change the format and tests?
I don't think so, they server their purpose and in reality everyone knows there's more to hockey than skating around a few cones. Plus I doubt scouts put much weight into these tests anyway... at least I hope not.
Also, his results are NOT bad.
