Sadly it's a low box ,not as tall as your reo box ,you wouldn't fit .I am 5 foot 10 and have an inch headroom with no boots on ,recon you have a fair bit more altitude than me.

So the mj bell housing is a one piece,4 studs to the gearbox and once you drop the flywheel through the bottom inspection cover the there are 6 bolts in a fan around the crankshaft end from memory, pain in the arse as the rear engine mounts are on the bell housing and you need to drift out the mount bolts and support the back end of the engine to remove the bell housing. It's been a little while but I an pretty sure it's 6 bolts.

Great detailed answer and thanks for reminding me that the engine mounts are integrated into the bell housing. You seem to be saying that the flywheel can be removed without removing the housing.

@backbeatpat yep ,so you can remove the flywheel bolts and post the flywheel out through the bell housing inspection cover .it's heavy , best to remove the starter as well so it doesn't snag on the ring gear.

It did come from Brighton but had been stored on the outskirts for several years ,so I don't know if it was ever London Road way.
