Here is a list of the parts needed for the Bedini motor build:

Add a small meal underneath the coil on the core you may have to add more than one put an amp meter on the input and run it normally and check the output and the amp output then put the little magnets underneath the iron core and you'll notice that everything stays the same except the input wattage drops 1/3 with the same output what's going on is the magnetic domains the magnets partially turn the magnetic domains but not enough to affect attraction but because one third or already changed then it all adds to the total when it's fired electrically so you get a boost you can always use a 1/3 less energy on the input

Sorry for posting links in your comment section, but I admire what you're trying to achieve so much, I would save you the trouble I went to running in circles for years. So here is the sum of what I learned. Rick Friedrich for battery swapping. Nick Kraakman for the flyback circuit, which he sells to save us the trouble of building. John Bedini's School Girl Energizer. Combine the lot and remember to use the air outside the device act as the Dielectric Medium, otherwise it won't work.

Thanks brother, but you forgot Kenergy.. I'm aware of all three you mentioned. John was the modern tesla in my view, I'm sure he only shared the small stuff with us and took the important discoveries with him. This motor design was an easy way to help get people started experimenting quickly without needing construction skills. Thanks for the comment!

No problem brother, I'm glad your interested in this hobby! Keep experimenting and you will unlock your own mysteries. Test the output voltage across the collector diode and the positive battery terminal with a multimeter. It should be over 50v. Be safe don't touch anything while its on...

No, it will stall. But if you can charge a second battery by placing it- drive battery positive to charge battery negative. Charge battery positive to output diode.

@@redesign3dp Now I use two 12F batteries to run the equipment. My batteries are all old batteries and the measured voltage is 6F. They cannot be charged with a charger. One battery alone cannot start the Bebini device. So I use a 12V battery charger to connect one of the batteries to power BEBINI. The wires drawn from the UF5408 diode are connected to the third battery. The positive terminal of the two batteries. When the device is not started, the voltage of the second battery is measured to be 6F. After startup, the measurement is about 9F. I'm not sure if I charged the second battery. There is another problem. The only resistor in the circuit will appear burnt black, but even if it is burnt black, the device can still start running. So far this is the case, although I have replaced 3 resistors... (I replace resistors when the unit stops running) I have no idea what is wrong. . . . . The voltage measured between the positive terminal of UF5408 and the positive terminal of the second battery is 12F. Before the resistor burned black, I measured 16F. The voltage between the negative terminal of UF5408 and the positive terminal of the second battery was basically no voltage. Is this correct? Also, the diameter of the coil I used is 0.5MM and 0.3MM. It is thinner than the one in the video... Is it a problem with the coil that causes no high-frequency pulse voltage to be generated? Also, my magnet has the S pole facing outward. It is the same for all three magnets. Do I need the N pole to face outward? Thank you very much for your reply again! Yesterday, the equipment no longer started running, and the three circuit boards did not start up. Today, I made the fourth circuit board and the equipment started up again. But currently the resistor is burnt black but the device is operating normally. (I have replaced the first three circuit boards that did not start with new resistors, but they still cannot start. I can't find the direction at all...) Fortunately, the fourth block was activated~~~otherwise I would have thought it was a dream. . . Ha ha

Great video. in your opinion what one component is most useful. caps, diodes, transistors, resistors etc... I love salvaging components from scrap. it's harder and harder to find useable bits, as people ditch "old fashioned" stuff. Soon it'll all be too small for me to desolder.

At present, I have replaced the battery pack with a new one and removed the mains charger. The previous blackening of the resistor has disappeared. It should be that the current was too high due to the external mains charger... Connect the positive terminal of the battery to the negative terminal of the multimeter and the white wire end of UF5408 to measure. The highest voltage I got was 24F. Considering that it only has a 12F battery connected, this is a surprise! How do I set up battery charging?

Im hoping someone can help me please. I have built this circuit but it's not working for me. I can get the neon bulb to light and go brighter and darker in unison with a high pitched noise that changes frequency with the potentiometer also. But the magnets are unaffected like the coil is not firing. laso if i place thr coil near the magnets and spin the rotor this will stop the circuit entirely. I have used 1N4001 diode across the base and emitter, does this need to be 1N4007 instead?

Magnets need to be in repulsion and must all face the same outward direction. 1n4001 should work

I'd wouldn't use li ion or lipo with that. The hv spike could damage the battery and start a fire potentially. Use on lead acid, or charge up caps.

Luckily i have a buddy that has a room full of lead acid batteries for some reason. ill see if he has any spare dead ones to revive or just charge. Thank you so much for the advice i can't wait for the rest of the parts to get here @@redesign3dp

I found out why I never managed to finish my build. Everything is printed, and components ready. Except the freaking neon lamp. I brought neon lamps from 3 different sellers on amazon, all of them sent me LED diodes with a resistance on them. After using some of them, I fried all my transistors.

At least you know whats wrong now! When you get it running don't forget to tape the rotor magnets or they will fly off. Glad your still at it.

There is no 12v indicator, thats a 90v neon to safeguard the transistor. Please Google a "bedini ssg circuit" let me know of you have further problems

The highest voltage measured in the device I copied is currently 33V, replaced with a 110V neon bulb. There is no load connected to the output end of the power generation, so it is measured by connecting it to the positive terminal of the multimeter. At this moment, the 110-volt neon bulb will light up. Although it is not particularly bright, it does light up, indicating that a voltage close to 110 volts is passing through. After several days of testing, this device can charge a second battery, but my observation is that 12.8 volts is the highest. There is a capacitor in the original BEDINI circuit. I would like to ask if there is any other way to improve the battery charging of this device? Please advise. Thanks!

That little bedini motor is a very basic entry level device for introductory experimentation and learning. Which you are doing nicely my friend. To use the voltage spike effectively, you use it to charge a capacitor bank, then dump it into a battery around 20v at 3 amps into another 12v battery. Check out my cap dump video to get an idea of its effects.

Another question: Are you sure it is 2N4007 Diode? I searched almost all stores and only found 1N4007....

Your correct 1n4007. But you can use any rectifier or shotkey diodes.

Where is your capacitor connected to the inductor in series of the same value. You can: 1. Control it better. 2. Make it go twice as fast. 3. Use less electricity. 4. Have better torque Just saying man gotta think efficiently.

I thought of a reason why there was no high voltage. Maybe it was because my battery was almost scrapped after being used for 3 years (the voltage was only 6F). The newly wound 20 25 coil can already start the device. It didn't start before because I connected the wires backwards... I will make almost every mistake several times... True Feel sorry...... The power generation voltage of the new coil is almost the same as that of the old coil, starting at 20F and then returning to 16V. This may be the result of adding a load after two batteries are connected in series...

The result of the test just now shows that the battery does not receive additional power. When the charger is connected, the speed and noise are getting louder and louder. The charging meter shows 1.1A and is reduced to 0.6A with the potentiometer control. The noise and speed drop significantly. I simply removed the external charger connected to the first battery and used the power in the battery to drive it. . . . . Sure enough, the rotor continues to rotate, and I can even use the potentiometer to control the current increase. Yes, there is no external mains power supply for the operation at this time. After measuring for a while, I found that the voltage in the battery was decreasing, and the voltage in the second battery was also decreasing. In general, the equipment I have made so far does not have high voltage peaks. I guess it may be a problem with the generator coil. Because the rotor can run, it may mean that the drive coil is working as expected. I will try to make a coil made of 20 25 copper wire and test it. Switch the drive coil leads. Its not a generator, but a mechanical oscillator that produced high voltage emf spikes. Make sure you have a load connected before operation.
