I am a symmetry victim. The only way to fit my bed into my tiny tiny bedroom AND for it to look symmetrical is putting it in front of the window, but I experience the same problem as you. I love the look, but don't love the feeling. Ah, sigh. I guess I have to live with asymmetry.. Big thumbs up for your room! It's gorgeous! x

Your bedroom is so cute! I just bought a house and have been trying to figure out which window treatments to use, so I am legit going to be trying out those blinds so I don't have to drill into my new window casings 🤞🏻 I am also super into mood lighting, too (everyone should be). I used to put 25W bulbs in all my lamps too, but just switched to Hue (#notsponsored) which have a huge range in brightness and temperature, so you can actually brighten them on the occasions you need to. Just thought I'd pass that along - love your channel! ❤️

Great content as always Mary Elizabeth. I've been following you for a while now and have enjoyed seeing your style evolve from retro chic to luxuriously feminine. The blinds you feature in this episode are particularly cool. I had 10 sets of blinds in my former bedroom (the room was octagonal with two windows each on five walls). I loved the light but opening and closing that many blinds was tedious. I'd enter your contest in a flash but I'm in Canada.

Lovely bedroom! I have an app that tells me which directions are good for my birthdate (wood dragon) and according to this app there's only 2 places I can put my bed, one is under the window and the other is impossible because of the layout of the room, so I don't know what to do? Also i'm not sure if the direction on the app if the direction of where I put my bed, or if its the direction I am facing when i'm in bed? Can you help please?

Love how you changed the room up with the bed sideways to the main light source. I would not have put curtains over the smaller window but like that you’ve started a pic grouping over there for interests sake when in bed. I have a question though; did you re-paint the pink walls. Somehow (and this could be totally another design trick!), the pink looks more cool-toned than before?? It was “Romance” no?... I love your eclectic style with things you enjoy including doglets. 🌸💋🌷👍🎉

I need to have my phone on before bed because it's where my alarm is and I have it on vibrate (I'm always scared it will be too quiet with sound and I might be late) so I keep it in my bed for that reason

Pink! I love pink! Love your walls, last time I had pink walls they were hot pink to match my stereo ( it was the 80s ....I shall not be judged, i was very into Cyndi Lauper, it was fantastic then, IMO). I’ve never let go of pink, I think I want to go pink again because I just wanna. I’ll tone it down from hot pink, I’ll go with your pretty pretty pink.

Girl..this video is very chic. You seem really sweet..but I don’t live in a world where smart blinds are exactly “practical”. They run a few hundred dollars per window.
