Thank you in advance for this story. I always enjoy stories from culture, religion and myth told with a sprinkle of Soothing Pod magic to unwind at night. It's interesting how many myths and religions have similar themes despite originating from other ends of the world.
If possible could you upload a version without the ambient background noise at the end please? I never reach the end of your video when the story is being told but the ambient noise at the end always wakes me up within 30mins, would be very much appreciated if you could 🤗
@@daisychain5894 @daisychain5894 Have you tried Googling "how to set my phone to turn off at a certain time" or something along those lines? It should be somewhere in your phone settings. Hope this helps xx
I like the imagination of God stretching out his hand to make the world and all, but Genesis capters 1-3 is a better place to grab inspiration of the beginning story and Adam & Eve story. I'm not sure where Lilith came from, weather it's from a different text that's not cannon or just made up, I believe Eve is enough. There's a reason why there's light, then water, then land and vegitation, then sun moon and stars, then fish and birds then the rest of the animals and finaly man and of course eventually woman. Wether anyone believes in the biblical story, or not, it's a more accurate storytelling of how the universe was made. At leats the point of view from where this story originates. I do appreciate the atempt of making this story feel more tangible. It's not something found in the Genisis account, just straight up I do admit. I just wish the inspiration came from the more accurate account of the story in The book of Genesis. Fun fact: There wasn't just one being that created in the beginning story, but 3?
Huh. Well. That was...interesting to say the very least. Sure never heard the story told like that before. No bible I have ever read in almost 50 years, including my bible from 1883, says anything like that.
That surprises me because I have heard retellings that are similar to this one. Lilith is in a lot of Jewish retellings, for example. I think using her as the snake, rather than having Satan as the snake, was a really nice touch. Soothing Pod writes adaptations of mythology and pantheons from all cultures. If you're not into retelling and adaptations, this channel might not be the one for you.
Hi, can you do a series of the stories from the Arabian night? They are so beautiful:) If Arif read it I'll last through probably through the opening as first 3 pages...
@@djdb1214 You again. You're all over this comment section. We get it, you believe the Bible is true and real. But not all of us do. Many of us look at bible stories as just another set of mythology stories. We're here to sleep and be entertained, not to discuss religious politics.
The channel is well known for writing adaptations of mythology, you shouldn't be surprised they've made an adaptation of the Adam and Eve myth... Unless you're one of those people who believes the myth is real. In which case, I don't think that channel is for you.
@@murgh7442the fact that the channel liked your comment tells me this channel thinks the Bible is a myth (it is not, Jesus Christ and God are real) so this definitely isn't the channel for me either. Unsubscribing.
