+allymayful The reason for that is so very apparent when you think about it Ally..because then they would have to admit how extremely wrong they were.. for so Unfairly creating and promoting the Brutal "back-lash" these lovely brothers had to endure for So many years!
Jesse Lockhart.......agree. One of the only groups we've seen that were great in the 60's and then became a sensation again with Saturday Night Fever with a whole different style of music. Half the younger generation doesn't even know their early stuff. Seriously, very talented guys
He absolutely could! He had an amazing vocal range. His voice never sounded the same old same old. He could change it up anytime and anyway he wanted to suit the song. Barry Gibb was an extremely talented and very versatile singer.
@@kthor Yes his voice is so versatile. Barry could change it to suit whatever song he was singing with who ever he was singing with. He really is a musical genius and a true living legend.🥰🥰🥰🥰
LOVE..LOVE..LOVE this. It's perfection..all of them so talented. So neat seeing them havin' fun. The Bee Gees can sing anything with anyone..so gifted. NO ONE LIKE THEM EVER!!! Love them so much♥️♥️♥️ And my sweet Barry lookin' so fine..he takes my breath away🫠 Will always love him "inside and out, backwards and forwards with my heart hanging out"💘 BEE GEES FOREVER♥️♥️♥️🎶
Jane Myers I especially love how they sang 'To Love Somebody' on this video!...Sooo very Souuulful and beautiful!...and also Barry sounded excellent on 'I Can't Stop Loving You!'......Gonna miss these guys forever......
@@gretchenadamek3517 Um.. 'bigger hits'? honey, the hits where Barry had the lead were just as big as the ones where Robin had the lead. Show me ONE instance of where a Robin-lead song was bigger then any song Barry sung the lead on. In actual fact, the ones where Barry had the lead were technically bigger, NOT because he was better, but because said-songs were at the height of their fame, which was Barry-centric. This 'x is better then y' bullsh!t is just toxic, and does nothing for the fandom.
Well now! With Barry's Greenfield Cd last year coming out of Nashville, I'm anticipating him to create some country love songs for us next. Come on Barry take me there.
You know, I’m not into country, but I’d actually really like if he did that. Fulfil another dream, go a totally different way from the Bee Gees. One way to get past it all.
Listen the these Legends, each one is a Legend in Music. They are absolutely amazing, professional and those harmonies are breathtaking. Savour this video, already we have lost a few of our Legends. Savour every single moment of this video. Love from Toronto Canada. October 9,2023, John Lennon would have been 83 today ! Cherish every moment ❤
The Grand Ole Opry played a Huge part in Barry’s recovery after losing his three brothers. Barry and Maurice had a wonderful country side to them. They encouraged and shared and gave him hope to continue by showing sincere appreciation and encouragement. The crowd loved Barry.
37 YEARS OMG where did it go I'm 58 and i can honestly say i think i saw the BEST of the BEST !! in MUSIC/SINGERS/Sports/ACTORS and when ""CLASS"" meant Something ! so glad i'm not a KID Today !!

Looking for some Glen Campbell music, was touched with this ... love the Bee Gees ,, (sadly, only one left now )... Glen Campbell was and will always be - a LEGEND ... R. I P. .. sparkle and shine those RHINESTONES in Heaven ,... like the cowboy you were !xxx
Valuable! When artists RESPECTED each other. The Bee Gees singing Glen Campbell's and Willie Nelson's song and vice versa.Anyway to love someboy in a country version sounds as good as the original one.Barry is BREATHTAKING!
Oh..lovely so lovely .this is my first time that heard the Bee Gee featuring with the legand of country singer ..great great great time ..love this so much..❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Aw, I like watching this, strange mix, but very sweet, they look like they are all really enjoying each others company and musicianship, big smiles on their faces, I like these old tunes, something innocent about the whole picture. Thanks for posting.
The Bee Gees grew up on bluegrass music in Australia when they were very young. Some of their very early songs such as "Butterfly" definitely has a Bluegrass or country flavor to it. Barry remade the song on his recent album called "Greenfields" with country music stars and bluegrass music stars. It just came out.
Los Bee Gees son lo máximo y de los muy pocos que pueden cantar lo que sea, realmente la historia musical no ha sido del todo justa con estos grandes de la música, merecen mayor reconocimiento a su trayectoria. Bee Gees forever!!
We are not certain, but there's a strong probability that Jesus was (as were most men in Palestine at the time) about 5' 8" tall, Dark brown/Black hair, full beard, Brown eyes, and a mid brown skin... That doesn't sound like a description of Barry to me...
EarlJohn61 ... I was thinking of the picture of Jesus and how I think of him looking. Not quite like the picture, but not like the skull they did of the 1st century face either. No one really has any idea of what Jesus looked like for sure.
The Everly Bros Loves It with Legend True Grid Cowboys Willie Nelson, Our Beloved Glenn Campbell and Sir Barry Gibb Especially Our Beloveds Robin and Maurice Gibb ❤😢
These musicians, some performing out of their "normal" genre, show the pure greatness (that) they all possessed. And this wonderful clip shows the true respect that they all had for the (other) artists music (that) they were performing. What's more, these greats in their own right appear to be having a helluva good time playing & singing this medley which made watching this all the more enjoyable.
I think Maurice is embracing that country a little bit and now Barry is getting into it the more they sing. Interesting the oldest one there is still alive but not some of the others. This was a fun video.
They actually were raised on bluegrass music in Australia when they were little. So that was their first introduction to music. That is why Barry just made an album in Nashville with some country and bluegrass flavor to their old songs.
Loved this! Just have to add, I was at one of the concerts where the guys wore the silver jumpsuits! One of the best nights of my life at the time...it was AWESOME!!! I still remember that concert as if it were yesterday... RIP MO and ROBIN...
Actually, the Bee Gees never wore jumpsuits. It may have looked something like jumpsuits, especially from far away, but if you study photos it was always two-piece outfits of tight pants and tight jackets with zippers (the zippers often unzipped to quite a ways down, the fabric often shiny) during the disco era. Prior to that they mostly wore beautifully tailored suits, then button shirts and pants, and after that all sorts of things such as t-shirts, jeans, leather jackets and/or pants. But never jumpsuits, which are one-piece items where pants and top are one garment. And they looked good in everything they wore :-) .
Hermoso compilado, temas y voces fabulosas.. BEE GEES FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!
It's just like the.......undiscribable. ....incredibly to see such kind of greatest musicians of all time are performing together on a single stage. ..very much rare to see like that. ...Thanks for uploading such kind of rare collection.
I love how The Bee Gees is always having fun singing. Moe is always making me laugh during the song dream he made some funny sounds which Barry started to giggle a bit. Loving this video thanks for posting!!!
You're right, Katsem. I'm betting he's probably breaking several laws when he just stands there looking great while we try to concentrate on the music. Even worse, yet...he seems to be unaware of it...lol. I'm surprised that Linda ever lets him take off his ankle chains...lol.
Linda is beautiful! Together they have created a beautiful family of five children. Barry has said that Linda had as many opportunities as he did. Steve McQueen almost rode off with her on the back of his bike!
misterfunn If id had YT in the 70's i would'nt have learnt a thing nor attended a day at school. My parents would have been in court on a weekly basis for my school attendence.
RIP Glen, you left us today....... Watching this, if anyone knew anything about you, seeing this mash up of singers on stage together isn't strange at all ! Most people don't know you were "the other Beach Boy " or that Willy was actually into rock before hitting Country. We'll miss you. We already do.
The Bee Gees had a number of songs that were country (and also ones that were a fusion of country and blues/funk/pop) before they went disco. Particularly in the late 60s and early 70s. Barry said he always considered the Bee Gees country at their heart.
