Barry sang: "In the morning of my life, the minutes take so long to drift away, please be patient with your life: it's only morning and you're still to live your days. . ." what an amazing gift for concepts and words to frame them in, to help us appreciate what we have, while we have it. Thank you, Barry and thank you to your two wonderful brothers (and Andy), and those great parents of yours, especially Barbara, who encouraged you and loved you all unconditionally. A great model for mothers everywhere.
For many of us now the Morning has passed, twilight and our own evening has begun. We have sweet memories of the Morning, when we did not hurt, and would run for the sheer joy of it.
Mo and Barry looking so solemn. Robin with his sweet gentle smile. So much life ahead of them. But the twins gone too soon. In 2023, this song is as beautiful and meaningful as ever. Thank you for all the music, BeeGees. 💙💙💙
This is pure poetic brilliance. Two guitars, three voices, the harmony is mind blowing. The result is sheer musical magic, angelic harmony and poetic mastery. Totally captivating.
In 1965 they had a tent in sideshow alley at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney. For four shillings you got to see them sing about ten or more songs in an audience of eight people so close you could almost touch them. One guitar three singers no amplifier pure acoustic. They sang this song. A life changing experience.
What an unbelievable opportunity, a memory to last a lifetime. Every time I see a performance in Australia, they are so beloved by their audiences. It’s got to be moments like that that truly binds the brothers Gibb with Australians.
Massively missed the twins Maurice n our rob.so talented from god n back to him as they returned home safe the angels sang to welcome back our boys. We loved them so very much and as rob later sed. How's do we ever stop wanting them how do we ever.❤❤😢❤😢😢
This song was written and originally released in Australia before they left to fo to England. It was written on a train trip from Wagga Wagga back to Sydney after they had played there with Col Joye and the Joyboys..
Golden hair angels, sharing the sound of love, joy, and everything perfect from the Kingdom of Heaven. God gives us so much of His rich Joy and Loving music to share with!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤ This is everything to me. I love You, thank You😊😊😊😊 Awesome Bee Gees😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Such a great tune by the Bee Gees, fantastic lyrics from one heck of a talented band. Barry sounds so much like Andy here, it's uncanny. Thank you to all four Gibb Brothers for your musical impact.

wow, that last statement on the screen got me....."their harmonies blended perfectly, their arrangements were impeccable and there was something majestic about their presence on stage..." Love that take... Thank you so much for sharing.
I was 19 years old, I had entered the university and I still didn't believe in love. I didn't know it, but these songs made and predisposed my heart to love.
Thanks for sharing this video. Perfect - they were that good, that they are singing and playing in this video totally live , 3 voices & 2 acoustic guitars and getting that amazing sound 👌🎸🎤👍
This brings me to tears as I remember my life during this time period. I was lost, just wandering about after my time in the Army. This is the only group I listened to that was not Motown.
My most favourite song of all my favourite songs from the BeeGees. They've written this beautiful song while still in Australia, Barry would have been around 19/20 , the twins 16/17.Before they recorded it, an Israeli couple Esther and Abe Ofarim sang it, beautiful, too. Didn't know then it was written by the BeeGees, there is a first version as well, which I prefer, Robin sings with a much lower voice.
