The Gibb brothers were also much better song-wiiters. And Barry was a gentleman; Lennon was a bully and a browbeater. But, hey, we all have our own problems. Peace unto Lennon.
@@jimeubanks5209 The Beatles sold their soul to Satan as did Bob Dylan, watch the 60 minutes interview. The Beatles used backmasking in their music, Satanic subliminal crap. I read about it in Rolling Stone Magazine in 1979! Lennon is in hell where he belongs, we will see if he's more popular than Christ.
Of all Robin’s lead vocals, this is the most ethereal, most emotionally touching…just the most beautifully soulful song. He truly has the voice of an angel.
This was a great track . It should have been a hit in my opinion . The voice of Robin ,and the harmony are brilliant . Very underrated song . Beautiful . I reckon it's amongst robin's best songs . Sydney australia.8/9/2023 ❤❤😂😂RIP Robin ,Maurice ,and Andy .
Robin's voice gives this song its haunting quality - so beautiful!! I never knew him,of course, but since his death I have cried for his loss so many times. When he left he took so much with him...
Robin gave this a Celtic-haunting flavor. Wow--too much. He was one voice that was sent to us from God that we won't hear the likes of until we get to heaven to hear him again. Totally obsessed---BEE GEES FOR LIFE!!!!
In Heaven there will never be music like here on earth, there will only be praises for the Glory of Almighty God, and that doesn't even come with what's here in this world of illusions
You are absolutely right. So much fuss over the Beatles and yet these guys have written many more memorable and beautiful songs both for themselves and other artists. Even the current IKEA ad is using their music right now!! Their music will never date because it is so varied.
I’m a child of the early 90’s and I have to say that for me the Bee Gees are the greatest band to ever grace this planet. I struggle to understand why they are so heavily underrated. They should be held in the same esteem as The Beatles. They were around longer, I also think they were better song writers. If only more people realised how special these three were stood around one mic.
Absolutely agree…McCARTNEY GREATEST lyricist my ass…Monkberry moon delight.. Uncle Albert. .lalalala lovely Linda..Flaming Pie I thought it was mostly crap. I could write a list of hundreds .. But up against. Too Much Heaven…Rings Around the Moon.. Wedding Day..Alone..I Could Not Love You More.. their list is beautiful,remarkable,phenomenal.. no comparison.
Robin's was unmistakably the most uniquely melancholy voice whose songs were often sadly about death....New York Mining Disaster, I've Gotta Get A Message To You, I Started A Joke. He had such a sad interpretation to life which touched us all. 😔
Fantastische song van Robin. Om nooit te vergeten. Staat bij mij op nr. 1 aller tijden. Deze song raakt mij tot in diepst van mijn ziel en hart. Rust in vrede Robin.
This is another example of how the Bee Gees are the best of the best of all groups I have heard. These three guys are outstanding and I love them all but Mo is my favourite.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ich mag Barrys Stimme, sie ist so väterlich ❤ die Kombination der Stimmen von Barry, Robin und Maurice ist einfach rund und vollständig. Alle 3 wichtigsten Heilkräuter in einem Heilelixier.
Damn it! I remember getting this album Still Waters the very day Princess Diana died! I got the Deluxe edition with two extra songs & this was the song I was playing when I saw the news. 😢
Very sad robins gone rip .Just think what he would of written if he was still alive we will never know what we have missed out on .only know it would have been beautyfull.
I have listened to this song so many times, and each time it makes me cry. Robin had that one of a kind voice that can touch your heart. RIP lovely songbird..

Whoa, Robin’s vocals are so pierced with feeling; beautiful. Maurice and Barry are great too!❤❤❤ And I love everything about the moon… #TheBeeGees RIPMauriceandRobin
One of the best Bee Gees song!! Imagine this was "hidden". Love this song. The brothers ' voices complimented each other and brought out the beauty in each one. A work of heavenly harmony.
My favorite singers of all time. Their haunting melodies will always be remembered. I'm very grateful to have been of the era of phenomenal music, and the Bee Gees are at the top.
This is a beautiful song and Robin's voice is gorgeous. The words are so awesome. The music is so melodic. Thank you Robin for this music. I know you are among the stars. RIP dear Robin, Maurice and Andy. Love to Sir Barry and the entire Gibb family.
Robin was a Earth Angle, his voice was like no others, hauntingly heavenly and unique. Beautiful sends chills down my spine. Can hear in his voice Exactly how he is feeling. I’m 71 now and have been a fan since childhood. Maurice and Robin will truly be missed. My heartfelt sorrow for Barry, he has lost all his brothers now. They are waiting up there waiting for you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
my God, those lyrics.. that beautiful melody... those voices of beauty and distinction ...you can feel this all the way down to your toes. It's so good it hurts
@@louisati1757 you are right. I totally agree even in other comments when you perfectly define bad bee gees management as idiotic👍👍👍👍right!!!! Right you are girl✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
@@simonamercuryjackson1874 Thank you Simona! Years and years before they released some of their repertoire's gems. Most of them only released as bonus tracks in certain areas, as an after thought. Some others never released: such as "Sensuality" & "I will be there".
no brothers like this will ever exist so much tragedy Hang in there Barry your so strong No one ever like you and your brothers all for one one for all beautiful family
Thank you for printing the lyrics to Rings Around the Moon. It is one of the most spiritual and haunting songs and is one of my favorites. Only Robin Gibb could take those lyrics and turn them into such an unforgettable piece. Does anyone know why this beautiful piece of music was never released. I know many of his fans have just heard it much later, as I have. It will stay with me always. We miss having him beside us on earth writing beautiful music until the tragic end of his life. I believe he knew he would not live a long life. It was a connection to life and loss that permeated most of his music, especially after he lost his twin, and when he sang alone. I hope they find and release more of these hidden treasures before this generation passes.
Wonderful song, Robin's voice was unique. he was a genious and so handsome! Robin, I still grieve you and I adore you, I loved you then and I will love you forever my Angel.
