The King Air 350i is absolutely one of the most beautiful aircraft ever designed. I could never afford one, but it sure would be an experience learning how to fly one:)
In 1971 I expected to be trained on Army helicopters. I got orders for fixed wing aircraft and then it got better. I was one of 10 that year that got the King Air school.
@@Paiadakine LOL. Only a few Aviation Mgmt programs back then so I opted for WSU from ATL. Like stepping back in time. Great people. Great memories. Visited all of the manufacturers. Now I fly the King Air on MSFX from my desk and having a blast!
What does the oil shiek version sell for? All top of the list options, please. I am saving every cent from my lawn mowing this summer. Dad even bought me a new blade& changed the oil👍
I'm thinking about purchasing Costcos Private flight options and this is one of the aircraft listed, not bad I think I can justify the 17k price for year-round access to aircraft like this one.
.....the landing gear wheels are expertly inflated to the appropriate pressure. The the cloth seats are expertly stitched with a sewing machine and the glass windows are transparent and the fuel tanks are expertly sealed so no leaks
At 4.9M, why would you not just go ahead and add all of the extra options? 😂 I had the pleasure of being a passenger on one of these aircraft’s. What a pleasant trip.
A King Air 350i will go a ton of places a Citation X won’t... and will absolutely blow it away in terminal airspace below 10,000 feet racing for a runway
Garmin is for amateurs. It looks pretty and has a lot of fluff features. Professionals use Collins. It’s like what’s on airliners. A much higher degree of integration meaning equipment is rack mounted and hidden away while interfaces are through convenient centralized locations like the Control Data Unit, Radio Tuning Unit, and Flight Guidance Panel rather than buttons and knobs cluttering the sides of the displays or inconveniently placed... and the syntax and logic does make it harder to learn but once you do it’s way faster to create waypoints or resequence them or change VNAV information with a couple key strokes rather than diving into menus and using cursors.
Run a 3 inch scat hose from the heater box on the firewall between the rudder pedals to the left or right side of the stick and torque tube and under the seat.
No. it has a max range of 1800 miles I believe. I was going to try to fly in msfs 2020 that same route. just a bit shy. Maybe if you were at max altitude with no passengers/cargo you could slowly descend and make it.
