When I only saw the onions and garlic going into that pan, I knew then we were in trouble. But truthfully though, there are a lot of people who will benefit from this video. It was simple and straight to the point.
I actually made this and It was tasty....people need to stop criticizing and actually try it. Besides on my busy days, recipes like this makes life a lot more easier
I’m a mother of 4 an a grandmother 👵 thank you this is perfect for me looks good beautiful.blessings May your family stomachs be full an happy .😇no whole lot of anything quick to the point is what I like .
@@karma5814 Yes, if you know how to cook and have the patience, using hamburger helper is ridiculous. Now, lets assume some people only eat McDonalds or Taco Bell or pizza, isn't it better that he puts in some effort and saves some money. I make my bone broth from scratch before I make my soup; but, If someone uses bullion, power to them, the more effort you make in cooking the better; but, any effort is appreciated.
Hey Mr Wrath. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. I so Appreciate it. It's been a long time since I had Beefaroni .I made it and it tasted so good. brought back some good memories. Thanks again. 😘😘😘😘😘😘
Hey nasty commenters. Not everybody is into stocking lots of ingredients, and learning to use them. But everybody’s got to eat. This is a GREAT reminder that you don’t have to eat take out every day, for those who can even afford it. If folks weren’t still buying these easy boxed dishes, they won’t be on the shelves. I don’t understand why anybody would buy boxed instant Mac and powdered cheese, but it’s one of the all time best sellers in the grocery store. Its great for those who like, or need it. You did a helpful video sir. Good job. Return email notifications are not available at this time.
This is the Type of Cooking I Love. Its Simple. Its Delicious. And its made with passion. Cooking is about Pleasing other's. Giving People you care about Food that warms the Heart. This is the Type of Dish You run home to Eat. You can smell it from the Street. GREAT VIDEO...Thank You
Hamburger Helper is a perfectly fine dinner on a budget. I have been a single Mom, my own income. I still managed to have my kids involved in school, sports. My children are grown now but my youngest Sons wife called the other day for my Lemon Square recipe. I said ‘It’s the box mix from Kroger’. He didn’t know and she couldn’t make my recipe. Kids need to eat, even if you got $5. My oldest boy is 37, 6’4. He ate hamburger helper.
Remember when food stamps used to come in paper form? I lived through that growing up. Most of the time, it came late. We had three items left in the house left to eat: an old package of hamburger, an old onion and an old bag of macaroni. This was all cooked together. Any available seasonings added. TAAA DAAA!!! Dinner is served!!! This recipe is nothing new.
You, sure are right about that! It, could made like beef a roni like pasta or make it with a can of stew tomatoes and seasoning. I, still do all that and my grandboys love it!! I, am glad to hear that someone out there knows about back UN the days food!! Yummy 😋 😋!
Love it!!! I remember when Hamburger Helper first came out. It was when, back in the day, they'd send samples of food products in the mail to try. Everyone in the neighborhood fell in love with it. I enjoy mines to this day with a salad and an ice cold glass of tea 😊
Just letting you know I really did make it for dinner last night. Since it was my first time, I followed the recipe exactly as written which called for 2 cups of milk. I also added garlic because that’s what it looked like you did when sautéing the red onions. Stay safe, 06/15/2020
I liked this! It shows a cheap and easy way to spice up boxed hamburger helper with sauteed onions and some garlic. For a young adult who has never cooked, this could be very helpful. I also enjoyed the simplicity of the video with no loud music or talking. I usually cook the pasta separately but I'll try it all together. Thanks for posting!
I thought this was from scratch! Lol Its ok gotta eat from a box now n then. It really did look good! I would eat that with bread n butter n a big glass of milk. MMMMMM!!
I’waiting for the measurement of the recipe...all i heard is the bubbling of the sauce..where can i buy thatcheesy sauce,,i’m lost...🙄😩but i like it..seems so yummy for me...👍👏👏👏
Wow, I'm amazed at how a person could want to simply share how they make a meal with the world and you get people who are immediately insulting and using every opportunity to bring that person down - essentially emotionally abusing him. Wow, this is emotionally violent. I wanted to watch beefaroni videos because it's my 13 year old son's favourite meal and I am not a huge fan so I wanted to get inspired to cook it, by watching RU-vid videos. Seeing the response from "people" on here has made me feel sad.
Emotionally violent?? You are a woke liberal idiot. This is just illiterate stupidity on display. Just read the instructions on the box. You don't a video to teach you to read instructions on box my friend. God Bless and keep you safe...from yourself!
@@BigHeinen you are the definition of embarrassing troll. No l am not a woke liberal idiot as you put it, I was simply stating that all the user wanted to do was post a video in which they are sharing something completely innocent. There is no need to be nasty to anyone who does that. It's seems we need to be kept safe from people like you.
Best thing about hamburger helper is the add-ins! I always add mushrooms, green/yellow/purple onions, add a veggie you like and BAM you have a full one skillet meal! 👍🏻Great job man!
This didn't make me hungry it brought back memories of when i couldn't afford a decent meal😔 but i got to give it to him he took a ordinary meal and made it into extraordinary 😂
you can make the most delicious dishes with inexpensive and simple ingredients. i like to cook on a budget, although i could afford to buy more expensive stuff. main thing is, it is delicious! 🥰
This is a nice quick recipe. He cooked his own meat and only used the seasoning from the noodles box. There's nothing wrong with that... ppl can make their own modifications if necessary. But it looks really yummy. Props on it.
My mom used to prepare this meal for the fam when I was a kid..2 boxes went a loooong way bro...I dont even see them in the market anywhere...Definitely brought back memories...😂😂
Thank you! Sometimes it is helpful to be reminded that good and basic food preparation need not be complicated, nor require more than basic skills. I appreciate the vid, as well as your 'unspoken message'.
Easy for working ppl./busy/a gang of kids/pop-in company recipe. I would just add round slices of peppers red, green or yellow, top off with a little bit of grated sharp cheese and have a bowl of tomato sauce on the side for anyone who likes sauce on their beef.
Manny Escamilla I wing it so I’m not good for measurements but I usually use shells for the pasta. While the pastas draining i brown off a pound of ground beef then drain that then I just take 2 tablespoons butter and melt that and add 2 tablespoons flour. Cook the flour till no longer raw like 4-5 min then add some beef stock and milk or heavy cream till you get the thickness in gravy you like. Once gravy’s ready add ground beef and pasta. At this point you can add whatever you want. Frozen veggies is good. I’m no professional trail and error lol it’s not an extravagant recipe but tasty af. Oh add your favorite cheese if you like. Hope that helps. Season the gravy too 👍🏻
Gal Dang it. You were right. I'm hungry with just the onions. No hamburger to make this. Dang Corina. Haha I thought this was homemade.... Pulls out the Helper. But I'd eat that right now with vegetable on the side.
@@MrWrath and a fine cutting it was. But I did cringe when the box of HH appeared. I can cook, but there was a time that I knew nothing. Same for every a-hole shitting on your video, they too one time didn't know how to cook. The instructions on a package only mean something if you know already how to brown meat or cut an onion, and why. You're silent video covered the essentials for someone needing the basics. Before RU-vid, all first timers had to suffer the box directions, (shudder) that's a frightening memory
😂😂😂😂😂 I found this channel from the how to make Raman noodle. Then I saw in the comment someone said teach us how to make a bowl of cereal and he said I already have a video for that 😂😂 and now I had to check him out. New subscriber. You are pretty good. Keep up the good work lol you make my day
Yo im an old head, and this food is right by me. Looks better tham my 1st wifes hambuger helper. I will share this w her via my son. With 3 biscuits .and im good dude t.y.
