Beehive Trail Acadia National Park 

Beehive Trail, Acadia National Park. Approximately 1.4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of about 450 feet. Breathtaking views! We did the loop counterclockwise inorder to do the challenging part of the loop first. There were small kids at the top. They did the hike clockwise but came back down the trail the same way they went up. Doing that bypassed the rock scramble and using the iron rungs and handholds. It is a good option for families.
