I appreciate you doing this as it encouraged me to revitalize an antique AI Root smoker. Your method may have been on a cheap one, but it helped me restore a 100-year-old one. Good show, sir.
Thanks. I (and probably half of the beekeeping world) also have that smoker. This will look better than the copious amounts of duct tape holding it together.
My bellows have the same problem. The video is great, only thing to make it better is offering your name and address, repair cost and I'll send mine your way for repair!

Nice repair job. I have found that black or white rubber membrane they use for flat roofing works really good for places like that and it stands up to a lot of abuse. We keep scraps around for just those time. Good video, thanks.
