@@Whistler42 Cleetus will always push his equipment to the breaking point. When he gets an SMX engine he will want to run 55lbs. of boost and run low sixes. He will break that too.

Been following along since you got hooked up with Cleetus and started watching older vids. I think your intro song is one of the best out of all the YT channels I follow.
Maybe a more advanced tuner would be the better way to put it imo. Nate, Brent, Kevin are all good tuners but understandably at the levels mullet is at and the multitude of tuning adjustments needed to get the best results someone like Pete is definitely needed.
@@danielholter1861 he's helping with all of it at this point... But yes he started there I believe because they were having an issue and he figured it out.. but I can tell Garrett's going to have him tune for him every chance he gets from what I've seen

I have a 1999 Dakota that needs a new motor would like to put in a sbc with a turbo 490 but don’t know if the juice is worth the squeeze assuming the monitor will have to be moved back at least 8 inches a rear end mounts and cross member and stand alone wiring any other suggestions would be appreciated optimal word is a cheap 400 to 500hp

How do roller cam bearings affect oil pressure? Or do they? Will you be taking a saxophone on Sick Week..... and what about the Bojangles??? Do they have em in FL??
Are 410 aluminum Sprint car motors used to do the same thing Spin or loosen up with a regular babbit Cam bearing, We attributed to the Fast expansion rate of the aluminum Block and the slow expansion Of the steel backing on the cam bearing

Been curious about needle/roller bearings for cam journals for a long time..aside from the durability issues you addressed are there any other benefits? Is there a measurable HP gain due to lower friction compared to plain bearings? Do you make any changes to the oil galley to feed rollers vs plain?

Pete what are your thoughts on using a L33 (aluminum block 5.3 LS) for a 600+ HP turbo build using stock block, crank, and heads that are ported (243 or799 casting). This car will get a little street time but mostly raced at the track, and street on a drag radial.
