i seen this beer the last week of sept and the 6 pack i bought was 1 week old, this is my favorite ipa and will always be in my fridge, what i like most is that i don't get the bitterness that most ipa's have and the finish is not dry, this is a 100 beer to me greg, good luck with your house and cheers

I just tried my first can of this. It was almost 6 months old...but guess what? It was _still_ fruity and delicious. I was expecting a malt bomb.

Oskar Blues is opening a brewery in Austin next year! I'm pretty excited being that I live in Austin.

Great review, I will be picking this up on my next trip to the liquor store. I was very impressed with Dale's Pale Ale the first time I tried it, one might consider it ipa quality :) I think this will be great. Cheers.

This beer smells great, but really underwhelms me. Dale's, Deviant Dale's, and Gubna are all terrific, but I find this one to be a bit characterless and oddly astringent. Especially for the pricetag, it's basically a never-buy for me. As far as widely available IPAs go, I'll always pick Boulevard's Single Wide, Sierra Nevada's Torpedo, Summit's Saga, Deschutes' Fresh Squeezed, and many others over it.

redbeard I disagree.. it's definitely not an in your face IPA but the flavors are all so well balanced. Very well made drinkable IPA

I have come around on it! For whatever reason, the first couple batches I had were considerably worse than any I've had since then. It's still not outstanding and is usually overpriced, but it's a beer I definitely enjoy.
