Learning about The Androids was a happy coincidence, if the Tournament Of Power wasn't hanging over their heads Beerus would have probably done something about those twin affronts to the laws of both Nature and The Gods, but he 'pretended not to hear' about their origin story.
@@GrubKiller436 most saiyans escaped too many places , even turles said it too - also vegeta does not know all saiyans that left , he knew onlly some of them , vegeta also didnt knew about broly
Goku's transformation at that moment was the greatest moment in my anime history, that time I had no internet nor any spoilers for me. The fight really fired my emotions so much🔥
No offense but honestly that take is so stupid to me personally, dubs haven't been bad and when I mean bad I mean BAD since stuff like Speed Racer and that one was literally on par with the original which is why being so bad makes it so good besides some stinkers here and there dub ranges from okay to great and I watch both but tbh og Dragonball Zs dub while not bad especially once the Cell Saga came into play it wasn't the best with the changing of music added dialogue, changed dialogue, that being said I still like it now you want a dub that changes lines and gets it right? YuYu Hakusho took the what the original had and elevated it to the next level genuinely my favorite anime of all time dub or not
@@wwalton I’ll state what might already be obvious: I haven’t heard too too many dubs, so go easy on me 😅 Thank you for enlightening me though! I’ll try listening to some other ones to maybe learn that not everything sounds as not good as I’ve heard others.
@malekat8539 bcuz when whis mentioned how most saiyans were on earth, hinting that there were other saiyans somewhere around the universe: broly, paragus, and possibly tarble
Beerus received an oracle prediction that a Saiyan God would kill him so he told Frieza in order to become the next god of destruction kill all the Saiyans you own. Beerus isn't immortal. Just long life span. Same as Frieza. His clan can live 500+ years in the manga. But toriyama loves retconning his own junk so this might not even be canon in the next 5 years.
I've met Beerus's voice actor, it was at Crypticon when he was one of the guests there. When I went to get his autograph, he was kind enough to do it for free on account of me being a volunteer for the con. Really nice dude.
Well, battle of gods was written by Toryiama. It was essentially the only piece from DBS that he actually wrote and didn't just send some notes. This little bit is from the battle of gods section. Unfortunately, you can tell that this is much better world building that most of what comes afterwards. These little bits in the movie and the anime were so simple, and yet so good.
I'm glad the DBS manga is being written by Akira Toriyama because the manga has been fire too 🔥 Instead of just giving the animation studio notes and them filling the gaps with scenes people dislike lol
I just watch dragon ball to see grown men fighting with cool transformations. I'll appreciate any world building that is added but the priority is the fighting and the cool forms.@@cineglasses
Do you think the allmighty god will be pleased with him? Which religion did he follow anyway? I mean that because he drawed angels and gods. Which is a major sin in christianity. Who knows.
Loved BOTG movie, the setup was pitched perfectly, Freiza was always the OG under Beerus of course because he allowed it, so it made sense to bring him back to life, it was just a poor execution on how it was done in Resurrection of F. But when Beerus was introduced love it, but now I feel like they don’t know what to do with his character, I feel like the Gods of Destruction should be in their own league of power just under the Angles, with both Goku and Vegeta not able to bridge the gap.
It’s still so strange that he questions saiyans being strong. A race of warrior people, who get stronger by being injured and defeated. Put those two things together, constantly fighting and being injured, and therefore constantly getting stronger. Super saiyans being rare is kinda the biggest plot hole in dbz to me, not sure if it gets covered
@@soonaheroyou think a warrior culture won’t fight its own people, and because of that have battles where they don’t kill each other but just battle for the sake of battle and growth, like goku and them litteraly do through the entire show?
@@soonahero ok, so that is explained in universe, wasn’t sure it was. Though if they do fight and win but still get injured, they’re saiyan attribute should kick in to get stronger, so it’s dumb of them to believe that
@peterbenckendorf9724 it was less that the believed that a Saiyans power was fixed at birth, and more so that their potential was fixed since birth. Prince Vegeta did not have the power level he had when first arriving on Earth when he was first born, but his power was higher than most infants, which was attributed to his elite heritage. It seems that most races, at least during the early parts of Z when Power Levels were somewhat relevant, had no idea they could train and get stronger and believed that their power levels were fixed. That's not Canon information mind you, more an observation on the behavior of the various characters such as Qui and Dodoria being caught off guard by Vegeta's power increase, and Zarbon not expecting Vegeta to be any more powerful at all during their rematch after Vegeta had recovered. It almost has an air of propaganda to it, the concept that power levels were fixed, with the Earthlings being the only ones who really understood that training could increase their own strength and power. In the original Bardock special, before the Dragon Ball Minus retcon, it is implied that one of the reasons Freeza wants to destroy the Saiyans is due in part to the observed and estimated growth rate of Bardock, who was known as a low class warrior who took on missions far above his weight class but kept coming back alive stronger than ever.
Looking back I'm surprised Beerus was shocked to hear someone defeated Frieza and the fact Whis knows about Goku despite never meeting tells me bro properly can see everything going on in the universe but didnt chime in when a time traveler showed up
good point about the time traveller part, When whis catches bulma messing with the time machine he gives her shit for messing with time multiple times.
@@superhobo666 begs the question what does he know and how far does his knowledge expand he knew about Goku and the remaining Saiyan location but didn't know when a time traveler showed felt like he should have sense something like that
I just realized something beerus said "did upstart Frieza manage to defeat planet Vegeta for me" meaning it was beerus's fault planet vegeta was destroyed.
@@mattmatt42that won't likely happen. Vegeta knows now it was Beerus who asked Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta. Saiyans were savages and mercilessly killing and destroying civilizations. Beerus did what a G.O.D. would do. Vegeta understands that. That's why Vegeta chose to learn Hakai and get trained by Beerus.
I just realized he said most not all saiyans are on earth meaning that he potentially knew broly and Paragus were alive (i doubt they thought that far ahead but still nice detail)
What crack are you smoking? They were referencing Vegetas brother Tarble. You know, the canon brother of Vegeta? Who Vegeta literally mentions by name in the very same movie when they bring up how they need more saiyans for the super saiyan god ritual? This was the BoG movie, they didn't even have plans to make DB Super yet, much less any DBS movies. Heck they didn't even have plans for Revival of F yet.
Great movie and love the new characters it brought. That being said why did they have to change the past? Frieza destroyed planet Vegeta out of fear due to the legend.
SSJ 1 was amazing, and it was whjat got me into anime. I will have to say that the build up for gohan ssj2 for the entire show was peak for me. best fight hands down
That scene was so mind blowing at the time, thinking of how powers like them could be reacting to such transgressions amongst mortals that weve been considering the extreme levels of power in the show at the time
The fact that Whis LITERALLY hinted the fact Paragus + Broly and possibly some other Saiyans were alive somewhere out and about by saying "It appears MOST of the surviving saiyans are located on a planet called Earth".
RIP to Akira Toriyama. Akira Toriyama created Dragon Ball Super to continue the beloved story of Goku and his friends, meet fan expectations, expand the Dragon Ball universe, collaborate with Toei Animation, and revitalize the Dragon Ball franchise. Truly, it’s a saga that has left an indelible mark on anime and manga history!
That isn't what bugger means. It means sod or annoying person but more crass than that. An insult that comes from the word buggery and you know what that means.
ive seen so many shorts and edits of dragon ball i really wanna watch it but there are so many different series for it idk where your suppose to start or where the best place to start is
