Imagine just doing your job in a sunny day, turning drunk for accident, try to go home so you can get help but then get brutally killed by your own friends. That's terrifying.
There's actually a third reason. Most bees are diurnal, meaning they only fly during the day. They use the sun's polarized light to navigate, but they can't see well in the dark. Leading to possibly finding bees on the floor most most mornings
it's horrifying because it looks really rough and childish...its like seeing a children's show made in mspaint become a terrifying splatter horror film that will NOT pull their punches at all
@@SuperstitiousWolf the bee that’s carrying the nectar is drunk, it’s understandable that she’d make this kind of mistake whilst flying under the influence
Nah they where not as Beytaş looking as this most of them are just mental or starvation and a lot of people die sometimes of that and the rats are just beasts but still deserving a lil bit
Another reason for finding a fallen bee, as a beekeeper, is that bees fly till their wings break. During high season, the life expectancy is 4-6 weeks before they have ruined their wings too much to return to the hive, upon which they'll fall to the ground and starve or freeze during the night
@@prodvasidmusic I think so, weighed against a slow death, but it would be a bit nonsensical to be posted by your hive, trying to spot a drunk bee. If I were to spot one, I would, but only if I was sure. They fly a bit funny, but there's, when the season is highest, some 50.-80. thousand bees in the hive, so yeah, like looking for a needle in a haystack. If I saw one who had been mutilated, without a doubt I'd put it down, though. I'm still relatively new to beekeeping, but I'm relatively sure you can't really just keep them from the hive, cuz they won't puke up the honey without anywhere to put it, and the real reason they're not allowed in is because the fermented nectar can ruin the whole honey stock, but again, even if you can, finding it is like finding the needle
My first thought about drunken bees at the hive was, "DAMN! This sounds like a random night at the club..." until the ripping off the body parts bit...
This makes the total battle cats pfps I've seen this year 5 considering it all happened in the past two weeks I'm going to assume the cat uprising is starting soon
Right?!? I'm no entomologist or anything but I'm pretty sure drones aren't involved in this. It's like I had a buddy of mine that saw a large orb weaver in his garage and asked me if it was male or female. I said while it isn't a rule per se generally speaking the insects and arachnids you see are female. Generally males are smaller and seeking females 🤷
I once saw a bee with no wings and i was with my little sister. She took it with us and we took care of it. I don't know how, but it lived for more than 2 months. I guess the bee was really lucky
U sure? Assuming it was a worker they very rarely live for more than one month, so it’s kinda weird that you found a bee that was alive already (for who knows how much) and then it survived almost if not double its life expectancy while being also injured 🗿
@@diobbrando pretty sure that life expectancy relies heavily on crap like having your wings, eyes, and limbs torn out for accidentally getting drunk and the fact they work themselves to death
@@diobbrandoThe life expectancy is due to how bees normally live. A lot of stuff they do is slowly breaking them until to much is broken and they die. Most bees work till they can’t work until they can again so they die very quick than how long they could normally live under perfect conditions.
@@diobbrandoworker bees live for 4 months on average and just die of exhaustion, or they get lost/lose their wings and die to the elements. They can actually live for a year or more under perfect conditions.
bees on their with like "throwing a child off a cliff with hopes it'll rain" stuff. this is something that seems like it would be happen if you coughed during a ceremony in ancient egypt.
She didn't have any sons. All workers are female and only the queen breeds. (A few male drones are born, but they're useless outside of breeding and only live about a week. Typical.)
this execution for being drunk must be a new thing evolutionary speaking, with how old bees are as a species they would've developed resistance to alcohol
