🎸🎻🎧🎤💛👌I really like the way Jonathan Scott plays the organ. He is a very professional organ player. Special thanks for the nice presentation to St. Nicolas' Church, Toulouse, France. Symphony No. 5 in c minor Op. 67 by Ludwig van Beethoven is simply stunning. I am a big fan of the composer. The Symphony No. 5 in C minor of Ludwig van Beethoven, Op. 67, was written between 1804 and 1808. It is one of the best-known compositions in classical music and one of the most frequently played symphonies, and it is widely considered one of the cornerstones of western music. First performed in Vienna's Theater an der Wien in 1808, the work achieved its prodigious reputation soon afterward. E. T. A. Hoffmann described the symphony as "one of the most important works of the time". As is typical of symphonies during the Classical period, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony has four movements. Big like.👌👍

If you like a good loud building then listen to the German wunderkind (23) organist Paul Fey playing a baroque fanfare on the 1762 Jordi Bosch organ in Spain. French organs like this one in Toulouse were build on a long tradition of loud 'shouty' ranks of reeds but they had nothing on the baroque Spanish who built organs for military pageant and procession and definitely not for hymn singing. The Santanyi organ is 25% horizontal trumpets and the rest is reeds with the base pedal sounding like a drum. Find the upload in YT under: 'FANFARE - Paul Fey plays the Organ in SANTANYI (Spain) using the SPANISH TRUMPETS - Jordi Bosch'

Formidable transcription et interprétation tonique, nerveuse. La musique de Beethoven convient parfaitement à la grandeur de l'orgue. Elle n'est en rien dénaturée, bien au contraire. Daubbline and Callinet certainly knew style when it came to building this organ. It's wonderfully gothic, and in the proper dark stain too. I heard this song before but had no idea it was Beethoven. I do recognize it from Reuge's 3 song 144 note music box arrangement however. It's quite shocking that despite only having 1669 pipes it can sound almost like a large Cathedral organ. But then again the Wurlitzer 153 is powerful despite playing Wurlitzer 150 Rolls which only have 3 bass(LESS BASS NOTES THAN ANY ORGAN LITERALLY), 9 accompaniment, 15 counter-melody and 16 main melody notes, and is therefore FAR from chromatic. That popular but small band organ has a mere 164 pipes, but with the right arrangements can blow out absolute power.

Kocham muzykę organową. Najbardziej lubię utwory grane tutti czyli wszystko. Jak organista włącza wszystkie piszczałki i jest bardzo głośno.

Indeed! Many American organs will have more stops but not the same power as this one!

When such a skillful musician brings music and architecture together to create one amazing arrangement. Thankyou. We look at the church and don't realise it's shape was designed to exhibit the organ and sometimes also the choir to their fullest. That's what church buildings are for!
