Mortimer H. Frank afferma che “the Naxos disc is technically deficient and will not track, even on the finest equipment” e che “because of tracking problems with the Naxos CD, the Relief edition is preferable” (“The NBC Years”, pagg. 307/308): mah?! Il mio CD Naxos gira perfettamente su tutti gli apparecchi. Forse era un problema del CD di Frank: magari ci aveva passeggiato sopra il gatto…

Great performance. However, I prefer some of the more recent modern interpretations. The recording is good by the standards of that time. Anyway, I love Beethoven's Choral Fantasy regardless.
