Hello!:) Thank you for waiting for a new video! At this time, I have prepared the performance with Beethoven’s Ode to Joy (German: An die Freude) from Symphony No. 9. Liszt arranged Symphony No. 9 for solo piano. It is too long to play it here. And, it’s not easy to prepare whole parts. So, I rearranged it for this video. I think that lots of people know this melody. I hope that you guys like this performance. Thank you so much! Have a great day!

Beethoven's 9th Symphony - An absolute staple in the Classical Canon. A brilliant composition by Beethoven on its own, and to take it a step forward, a brilliant transcription, arrangement, and an extraordinary performance by Kassia. Ode to Joy was the first piece I ever learned on the piano, and this performance brings back so many memories. Astonishing, is it not? How this piece is still considered one of the greatest symphonic works of all time, enduring the centuries since its publication and performance in 1824, just under three years before the composer's death in 1827. Contradicting the rest of the piece, which is in D Minor, Ode to Joy is in the key of D Major. This is possibly Beethoven's greatest work and is, by far, one of the greatest pieces in the entirety of the Classical Era, and, dare I say, of all time. Bravo, Kassia.

@Velnox
@Velnox 5 месяцев назад
@@ItibitydetskuIt sure is extremely hard to play (the part at the begining of 2nd half is impossible to play at original tempo with only the left hand unless your name is Liszt or Alkan). However, just in this set of etudes, no 6 is even more difficult because each variation use a different technique. But really, these etudes of 3-5 minutes are really less exhausting than Ode to Joy that is equaly or more challenging but is 10 times longer. Even pieces like Réminiscences de Don Juan (15-17 min) is a step above a single Paganini etude

Love the song! I have played the piano on and off for 45 years. Lessons for piano include ten years from age ten, then lessons for technique and music theory blah blah blah. Now someone today told me that they consider the song this song Ode To Joy to be Beethoven's best accomplishment. She is entitled to her opinion so we will leave it at that. I feel that you cannot put Beethoven's work in best to lease best. I believe each piece has an extraordinary value and musical contribution to all genres of music. I cannot say which piece I loved the most but I loved the pauses when I had to play them... 😆
