Beethoven Op.57 Appasionata | Ethan Luk Tin Tse 

Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel!
I want to share something personal with you today. For years, during practice sessions, music college halls, and masterclasses, I kept hearing students play this piece. It was often used as an exam piece, and I thought, "Enough already, this must be really difficult for a 10-year-old to play!" Initially, I just believed it was overplayed.
But one day, my father said to me, "Son, spend 10 minutes with me listening to Beethoven, and tell me what you think." This time, I really listened. And it completely changed my perspective on this piece of music.
The more I play it, the more I realize there’s so much to learn from it: the imagination, the temper, the frustration, the passion, the determination, the uncertainty of what comes next. It’s dark, yet somehow there’s a bright light of hope. To me, it’s a true masterpiece.
I know I have so much to learn from these incredible geniuses. They inspire me, and their music takes my breath away. I hope I can do justice to this piece when I upload it onto RU-vid.
