Thanks for sharing! Just learned this Sonata for a concert recital that was cancelled. But so much enjoyed it. Beethoven really had a fiery start for his first sonata with such a dramatic entrance and four movements. Great composition and played with such energy!

This is a very convincing rendition. Very beautiful playing, specialty polyphonic places where some secondary voices are pointed out with musical intention❤

Amazing. My mother used to play this when we were growing up in the sixties. But your dynamics on the trills are better. Thank you so much for this Easter present. ( My little sister always heard this as coming from overhead since she played with dolls under the Steinway.)

I love this song! You play it exactly how Beethoven wrote to me, Thank you! (My teacher’s teacher was Lizst’s student, Liszt was czerny’s and Czerny was Beethoven’s student) Long history, right?🙀🎞

Wow Very nice performance! I especially like your interpretation of Beethoven sonata no.1 4th movement. It is emotionally well controlled which perfectly brings the feeling of Beethoven's early work, and at the same time sound is clear even in high speed! That's the first of the 'real' Beethoven sonatas I've learned..I've played the first movement and would like to finish the other three movements but the 4th looks intimidating!

Hi Paul, i'm learning part 1 + 2 and am struggling with my hand/arm stamina. How can I build up my strength to be able to play the full sonata eventually? Are there any specific exercises or warm ups I can work on?
