Richard Goode's recordings of the Beethoven sonatas remain among the most beautiful... definitive! His legato sans pedal is breathtaking... his interpretation of the music is for me tantamount to 'reading my mind.' Exquisite. 'The pianists' pianist' is no exaggeration. Thank you.🙏

The variations in the second movement shows what a creative mind Beethoven had. It almost sounds like an improvisation.

This is one performer that you can say is Goode without any fear of contradiction. You can even remove the "e" at the end and still be right.

Beautiful, entrancing, amazing. Wow I never knew Beethoven could be so beautiful.
