Hi! At this time, I prepared Beethoven’s Waldstein sonata 1st movement. It was delayed because the length of this piece is long. Do you guys know this piece? This piece is one of the famous sonatas in Beethoven’s middle period. I hope that you guys like this performance! Always thank you for your support! I always check the pieces you guys recommended. Surely, I can’t do all of them. But, if possible, I try to play them. Then, Please leave the pieces which you want. Thank you! Have a good day!!

i have the deepest admiration for this sonata, its a milestone in the history of piano music, the way to right for the keyboard (orchestrally), to think of new ways of achieving effects of sounds and textures that had not been approached before, even by beethoven. A whole spectrum of sound is produced - (like the unique knocking rhythmic component of the first theme), as well as using the entire register of the keyboard with incredible effect - like at 0:25 a pianistic effect never seen before - a tremolo like sound reminiscent of stringed instruments. as well as harmonic innovations- like the second choralic subject that comes in the heavenly e major - (a third from the tonic) at 0:55, an interesting tonal harmonic relation. This sonata was dedicated to count Waldstein, who had been a great sponsor and and early supporter of beethoven, -And if i remember from Andras Schiff's masterclass on this sonata, he said it was count Waldstein who wrote to Beethoven: "may you go to vienna and inherit Mozart's spirit from Haydn's hands" ...and beethoven exceeds these expectations with the great middle period sonata's. You're playing is amazing as always, Kassia, and I look forward to the rest of the movements of this great sonata!

Did you know that... First of all, Kassia is a robot created by Rousseau... Second, this sonata's name derives from Beethoven's dedication to his close friend and patron count Ferdinand von Waldstein of Vienna ! It is considered one of Beethoven's greatest and most technically challenging piano sonatas. The first section of the rondo requires a simultaneous pedal trill, high melody and rapid left hand runs while its coda's glissando octaves You are the best Kassia ❤️

@dhruvsawant9234
@dhruvsawant9234 4 года назад
@@niccolopaganini4268 the 3rd mov. Is considered to be one of the hardest of beethoven's sonatas'. Generally about the 5th-7th hardest movement. It'd be higher if it weren't for many of the contrapunctal movements(because those are generally a pain). It's essentially in the top 3 hardest movements based on technical difficulties. The waldstein as a whole is also generally considered to be in the 7 hardest sonatas, but then again, this is subjective.

When I play the first few bars I always think like that, then over the course of the performance you get encapsulated by your own playing that mistakes become nothing but a concept. Mistakes are still unavoidable but when you get into that zone of music, you just completely forget the fact that you could mess up.

At the same time, you get the listener's attention in every piece you play (no matter the music period, every style suits you very well), dynamics are very polished and each and every note has an intention. And I almost forgot: you can do all this on an electronic keyboard... You have a huge talent and I'm glad to see that this channel grows bigger and bigger, you deserve it. Mind has been totally blown by the complexity of the music, and your lively rendition of Beethoven. I think that man was bored out of his gourd when he composed this. Wowsers!!!! Thank you!!!

I know the stress of knowing you can’t meet a deadline with a piece, and just know that we love and support you and your channel! So don’t stress over it, just play whatever you want whenever you want and be happy doing so! When I get down, or I start to lose motivation to learn a hard piece, I watch videos like yours and get inspired. So keep up the amazing work ❤️ and keep your mind healthy
