The piano is a difficult instrument to record properly. Not only is Marta an extraordinary pianiste, but she has had highly qualified people gravitate towards her to create these masterpieces. Brava and bravo.
Today I have discovered Marta Czech! She is remarkable beyond words. The whole package: infinite memory, comprehension, ear, pacing, touch, clarity, virtuoso technique, and joyful play. Her Art of the Fugue is just as good as her Beethoven. We await all the masterpieces in store for us. Now it's off to the piano.
#MeToo. Today discovered Marta Czech! Listened to both Hammerklavier and Kunst der Fuge. The pianist is in her 20's and both performances belong among the greats!❤🩹
I’ve asked why it was so difficult to choose between Marta playing Bach or Beethoven. Unfair question. Both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Just gimme that old-time religion, Marta. Et merci beaucoup, Bella.
"Hammerklavier" was considered impossible until Liszt played for first time after Beethoven. More than a mere music piece it's, for me, an exploration of the limits of the instrument, the rithm and new kind of melodies and, over all, of the thecnic skills required to play it. When all this things are being resolved with such naturality and perfection by someone of 24 years like Marta, I'm tempted to think that nothing seems impossible. My sincere admiration and thanks for all the work, study and talent, dear Marta. From Argentina, José Canale.
The opening she makes to the sonata is exactly as as it should be, for me. A happy, non portentous announcement of a period for us to share good things, hope and joy.
As we all say, Marta, an astonishing talent. We wonder how you manage to encompass such a vast repertoire with an ease and alacrity. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I tell you that we're grateful for the insight and joy you bring to these timeless pieces. As always, with best wishes!
Geniale! You are wonderful I think you will be one of the worlds best pianist I can’t believe at such a young age you can already play all 32 Beethoven sonatas 😊
This is simply gorgeous playing. Well articulated at every moment, yet with a tasteful modulum of rubato, including very finely done in the fugue. Above all the impression is given of ease and mastery along with a sublime musicality and first-class temperament. An amazing performance, quite crystalline yet emotionally expressive.
