A well-reasoned and moderate approach to this famous sonata. No showing off here, no theatrics; just excellent playing and brilliant finger technique. Beethoven's message comes through.

Finally the Rondo as it should be. Everyone goes for speed but Jussen kills it with emotion that permeated Beethoven's not only music but life.

such elegance even more so when Lucas was 19 at the time of the performance. There are many older pianists that fail to achieve this level of playing. BRAVO

Lucas and Arthur are my favorite pianists by a long shot. In my 75 years I have never heard such beauty come out of a piano. I wish fine pianists such as Yuja Wang would take a few lessons from the jussen brothers. No one plays as well as both Lucas and Arthur.

A tremendous account of this beloved sonata, full of the kind of subtlety and nuance you would expect from a much older artist. Both Arthur and his brother Lukas are, indeed, tremendously gifted. I look forward to hearing them both in person!

What I like about his Beethoven is that, despite the temptations with the numerous sfz's in the score, he never forces the tone and he maintains a very architectural view of the whole.
