to be fair, he's been back in the main stream for a while starring in two movies that won best picture. It is cool that he is returning to his most iconic roles tho.
Keaton portrayed hamburger mavin Ray Kroc in 2016's _The Founder,_ an excellent film, perhaps the best film of that year. Keaton was and is a great actor, and it's excellent to see him team up with the great Tim Burton again to reprise one of his standout roles, and hopefully we'll get to see him in even more quality movies upcoming. What a guy!
Now that u mentioned it, when I saw this trailer, I immediately thought of the ones who are not here anymore and it gave me a mix bag of chills with nostalgia , about to cry feeling...
That they elected to not have him repeat some classic line from the original and instead say something EVEN BETTER is why I'm actually excited about this.
I liked her in her stepmother type role. She had the perfect attitude for it. Not to mention the artistic eccentricity. But still enough room to develop and mature without losing some of that original flare
It was definitely teased forever, and that was frustrating. But, the fact that Tim, Michael, and Winona have always been positive about it encouraged me. In the end, I kind of love that it took this long. Sounds like they might have a worthwhile sequel to offer.
Yes PLEASE! I hate when a trailer spoils the whole plot and all the twists, takes the fun out of watching the movie. We know all we need to know from this: Lydia is back with her daughter. BJ comes out to play. Perfection 👌
He does look a lot creepier! Not a bad thing, I think it’s just cameras are so much better now so we’re seeing the juice in hd lol but the way he says “the juice is loose” is awesome, his attitude, movements, and voice are spot on!!!!
how his personality will be in the movie will be interesting to see I imagine its very hard for an actor to revisit the same feelings and emotions as 30 years ago
Now Warner brothers have to let Tim Burton and Michael Keaton do a proper Batman movie and just set it in an elseworld 89 universe. That's the great thing about the multiverse.
@Matthias Yes that's right, along with Two face and the Riddler. That's why Catwoman was left alive at the end of Batman returns. Robin might of been introduced as well.
@declanlynch I personally think that Christian Bale is overrated as Batman. I just hate that voice he does. I think Michael Keaton was the best followed closely by Val Kilmer then Ben Affleck.
I would absolutely love it if he’s still waiting on the couch as it’s finally coming to one number away from 9,998,383,750,000…. And in that split second time has a choice to either summon again to help or walk to the other side…
Who else cried watching this Beetle juice was one of my brothers favorite movies UNFORTUNATELY HE WONT BE HERE THIS YEAR TO SEE IT Rip Rosario I miss you big brother wish you was here to witness a masterpiece in the making 😒❤️
I’m 74 and so glad they made this while I was still around to enjoy it hopefully as much as I did the first one. I watched the original tonight and boy did it take me back to the time when my kids were young
That's gotta be leading to a third one where they have to say his name three times to send him back. Which makes Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice some cool finale.
It'll probably depend on how well this movie does. I guarantee you that it'll do extremely well at the box office, we just have to wait for the reviews. Hollywood does tend to butcher movie remakes & sequels.
@@Free420Love NGL I love the song. I just don't like how it was camped up in the movie. Mr. Belafonte deserves better. Also, the lyrics.... I mean, not really a happy song, is it?!
I've spent my entire life waiting for this right here! I didn't even believe it when I first heard about it because of how many times it's been claimed that a sequel was in the works only to turn out false, so I'd honestly decided it was never going to happen. I hate how excited I am about it because I don't want to be let down.
Finally a real movie with real actors and very little CGI. Can't wait to see this, if not great it will be good it's Tim Burton, and Michael Keaton can't be bad
Uhh I’m certain this movie will use a decent amount of CG. You remember the first movie? Well technology is a bit advanced since then. There will be lots of CG plus some practical effects
I was 4 in 88, the first Tim Burton movie I remember after having seen Batman (1990) when I was 7 on the TV. Knowing Tim, we never got disappointed when he gets back to his antics. Ghostbusters afterlife was good, the sequel (2024) didn't live up to our expectations . Beetlejuice, let him loose and exorcist every boring being, dead or alive!
Uber excited on all levels! Tim Burton bringing back the 80s! And all the original characters. I honestly never thought it would happen. So excited about this film 🎥 🎉❤
In the (many) years since watching the original, I got obsessed with the Broadway musical… so much so that I Keaton’s voice genuinely jump-scared me as I prepared myself for Brightman’s version of the character 😂 Can’t wait!
See I really like that preview. It showed just enough to get you interested, but not anything that could spoil any parts of the movie. Too many trailers show too much. I'm looking forward to seeing this when it comes out.
This looks great! Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, Deadpool 3 and Dune. What a year. All the dissapointments of 2023 is getting whiped out for me. :) Thanks for this!
