I've heard it's good. I'm excited about this one. I've heard it's a crowd pleaser too. I think it will make a lot of money. The studio clearly chose the September release date so it can go to streaming for Halloween but I think it will have more legs than they think. It might still be playing in theaters by then I've heard a few things that I won't post here because I don't know if John would be cool with it but I can say that people I trust say it's good. They say it's surprisingly poignant, especially given a specific limitation they had to work with. They apparently handle it as well as we could have hoped for. The "Neitherworld," as the cartoon termed it, looks fantastic and I think there's a lot more we've not seen yet. I didn't ask a lot of questions but I'm very curious about whether Beetlejuice is more good or evil in this movie. What I have heard is intriguing and it's hard to tell where exactly he ends up. I don't know anything about the end save for one detail but I don't know how the main plot resolves or anything. I'm very curious about what BJ's ultimate fate will be. I think we're in for a good one here. And I think the whole cast will be amazing. Especially one character who isn't featured in this trailer or any of the promotional material so far. I think that character is going to be a surprise hit and I'm excited for it. I'll just say I think there's a good reason they're keeping it relatively quiet and we haven't heard about his character yet Overall, very excited. So much excite. Love this. Looks great. Want to see. I think this will be a good one
@@hezekiahramirez6965 Ohh, hey, yeah. Instead of a special scene just for the trailer, that could have been lifted straight from the movie and pieced together the way they did for the trailer where she is a tv host or something like you said b/c the paranormal is real in that universe.
if you pause and look at the lady with the sewn up face (Monica Bellucci) when she's holding up her hand to the side of her face you'll see she's missing her ring finger. as in the finger from the end of the first movie. thats his ex(?)-wife. Plus, when he lite his thumb and blew the wall open doesn't that remind you of the Cartoon? 80s Winona Ryder was the goth girl 90s was Christina Ricci '00s was still Christina until Angelina Jolie did her goth type style i didnt like it but to each their own we really didn't get a good goth girl celeb in the '10s but here in the '20s its Jenna Ortega
He’s def not trying to marry Ortega. I’d be pretty weird. Him sticking to teenage brides 😬 He has Lydia’s picture on his desk all these years. He grabs Lydia and says “I’m gonna make you soo happy”, then the shot of her at a “chapel” again wearing her red wedding dress.
True - but I have to be honest - my style hasn't changed much in the last 35 years either! 🤣 Still wearing jeans and metal band t-shirt.... Have my Alice Cooper concert shirt on today! 😂
@@tattoodude8946 In the final scene of the first movie, she has short hair and has become slightly more mainstream. That's her character's arc; she's still Goth but a bit less extreme and depressed.
