If you watch the first one again, pay attention to how much of a Perv Beetlejuice is lol total creeper vibes. I wonder with the day and age we live in where everyone is so sensitive, if he will still be that way. He really wanted Wynona character bad, so with the younger girl that’s In that movie, curious to see if that’s his target now and not Wynona
It's been 36 years since the first beetle juice was released and Michael Keaton hasn’t lost all that charm that makes him Beetlejuice. Also, "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" has got to be the most perfect title for a Beetlejuice sequel. Absolutely perfect!
"It's Showtime!" I can't believe the ghost with the most is back, and I'm so glad Michael Keaton and Wynonna Ryder are reprising their roles. Keaton clearly hasn't lost touch with his character, even after 36 years.
Perfect teaser to Michael Keatons appearance as Beetlejuice after all this time to Winona Ryders facial expression after all that happened. She genuinely looked terrified.
I guess Beetlejuice found a way to get his head back to normal size. LOL. If anybody remembers, the very last scene in the original was the Shaman shrinking his head in the waiting room. Hopefully, they let us know what he did to get his head back to normal size. LOL
I love that Michael Keaton is returning to play his iconic roles after years since he last portrayed the characters. First with Batman in "The Flash" and now Beetlejuice!!! Can't wait to see this movie!
Anyone else super super super excited for this film. Looks like they respected the first film. And kept the same feel. Respects to the cast and crew in advance.
That's exactly what I thought if the second one is called beetlejuice, beetlejuice then I feel like they're setting up a third and if they do for sure it'll be titled beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice it only makes sense but we'll see
Seeing Keaton back plus Catherine O'Hara, Wynona Ryder and seeing Jenna Ortega as Lydia's daughter! I don't care if the story will be good honestly. I know I'll just have fun watching them play their characters!
From what I heard, both Burton and Keaton did not want to do the sequel unless it was done right so I have hope that this movie will be good! Keaton also said he had a lot of fun making it, even more fun than the first movie so that also gives me hope it'll be good cause for me, movies are so much more enjoyable when the stars have a blast making it.
I was born in 92 but discovered Beetlejuice from the cartoon series then later the films and have loved him ever since I’ve been waiting for a sequel for at least 27 years.
@@bhvrd Well the first and second film say Beetlejuice 3 times together. If they did a third then that would be 6 times, which doesn't really make sense, so I feel like they also did this so they can say Beetlejuice 3 times in total.
Jeena Ortega of course looks perfect ❤ and the effects look great, especially with the title reveal at the end. This looks great. I love your reaction to Wednesday, I've actually been rewatching it for the past few weeks😅. I used to rewatch Beetlejuice all the time and I love it.
It's possible Geena Davis could make a surprise de-aged appearance as Barbra. As for Alec Baldwin, he would be an unwelcomed distraction considering the legal trouble he is in. That basically rules out the possibility of him being a part of this film. With that said it is extremely important that 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' avoids being a remake of the first film. It has to tell its own story that expands on what the original setup. It can't rely on nostalgia alone and simply try to replicate what the first film did.
It shouldn’t be a distraction because the incident he’s in the middle of is not his fault. And besides, you can’t just exclude the original characters completely. If Alec and Geena’s characters didn’t die in the first movie, Beetlejuice wouldn’t come.
@@Tommyboy6426 What in the name of Sydney Sweeny's cleavage do you mean the incident isn't Alec Baldwin's fault? He pulled the trigger and fired the round that killed his cinematographer. He failed the most important gun safety rule. NEVER ASSUME A FIREARM IS EMPTY. If you haven't cleared it yourself, treat ALL FIREARMS AS IF THEY ARE HOT (Loaded). This means that if someone hands you a firearm and tells you its empty you do not take their word to be fact. Open the cylinder (revolvers) or pull back the slide/eject the magazine (simi autos). Once you have physically seen with your own eyes that the weapon is in fact empty it is now confirmed safe. Baldwin is anti-second amendment which means he likely didn't bother to take gun safety classes prior to handing the firearm. The film set was full of reckless behavior which included a firearm being discharged unintentionally days before the fatal shooting. The unsafe environment prompted several workers to quit. As executive producer, Baldwin is liable for any accidents therefore he should have taken charge and made sure that all safety regulations were being followed. Baldwin is an arrogant prick. If anyone deserves to be cancelled its him. I'm pretty sure that dead woman's family doesn't care to see him continuing his career as if nothing happened. Her blood is on his hands.
@@1977TA It’s not his fault. Period. It’s not his job to control the weapons. It’s the armorer’s job. This isn’t a gun range, it’s a movie set, gun rules always apply, but it works a little differently in terms of whose to blame. Before this incident with an armorer who has had multiple screwups with weapons in the past, Alec has never had any problems with weapons. In fact, I wouldn’t even say this time was a problem of his own, it was the armorer not doing her job that caused this to happen.
@@Tommyboy6426 The armorer is definitely liable however that does not excuse Baldwin who failed to do his part in making that set a safe place to work. Anyone that knows basic gun safety would not claim Balwin is not at fault. It does not matter if the place is a gun range, a supermarket, or a nail salon. You ALWAYS clear any firearm given to you yourself to confirm if it is cold or hot. I don't care if the armorer is in charge of all firearms on set. I'm personally checking anything weapon that gets in my hand because I know firearm safety and people are subject to human error. If the armorer screws up and gives me a hot gun that's supposed to be cold, I'm the last line of defense.
@@1977TA gun safety in the REAL WORLD works differently than gun safety in the REEL WORLD. Unlike a gun range- on a movie set, an armorer is hired to control the guns. The gun involved was supposed to be checked and emptied by the armorer, not Baldwin. Baldwin was told the gun was cold when it wasn’t, that’s not Baldwin’s fault. That’s the armorer’s fault.
Nobody is going to hire the actor who played the father. His career is as dead as his character. As someone said in the comments of another reaction to this teaser, he's "not allowed near schools".
Amazing teaser. Even the name 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice ' appears in stop motion form. Who knows if the sequel will bring back the old animated style from the 1st film.
Since this is the second movie and it's Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, I'm wondering if they're gonna make a third one so we can all say Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 😅
I do hope you realize that during the "Day-O" song, the word "Home" was omitted 3 times... The word Barbara used to get her and Adam away from Beetlejuice in the first movie ;)
I really hope he has the same amount of screen time as he did in the original. He doesn’t need to be in the movie too much or I feel like they’re just using the character as a crutch
This looks really interesting I wonder how much of Beetle Juice we'll see in this movie and I also wonder if Viloa Davis is coming back as one of the ghosts, but the sad part is that Alec Baldwin won't be in this movie because of his issue. I feel like Tim Burton is going to come out swinging with this movie and hopefully we get to see more Beetle Juice in this movie and I feel Keaton is going to do more comedy and going to make this movie better than the first one and having Danny Elfman come back to do the score is awesome I feel this movie is going to be special I really do want Tim Burton to do another Nightmare Before Christmas movie that's been a long time for that movie as well
Oh i cant wait glad they kept the trailer fresh with just the feeling about the film and man it feels like the first thank god please don't fail me now.
I had all of the Beetlejuice toys I had the mask I even trust dressed up as in for Halloween when I was a kid I'm 40 years old now I'm so freaking ready!!!!! I even watched the cartoon it's showtime folks
I’m super excited!! The original is a classic. Glad to see they are bringing back Michael Keaton, Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder. Not sure if I’ll see in theaters though as I want to see A Quiet Place 3 and Alien Romulus in theaters lol
Awesome teaser that captures a dark vibe. It's a teaser and it does what a teaser should let fans know what they love is returning and that it's going to capture the same feel. Ths actual trailer will let people us know what the real movie is going to be more or less.
The Winter River, Connecticut model splitting looks just like the splitting of Hawkins, Indiana.😳 Hmmm, Lydia Deetz, Joyce Byers, are we dealing with variants maybe?🤔 Would not that be an awesomely crossover, Beetlejuice vs Vecna.😁
i told one of my friends about the movie trailer and the title she asked me "why didn't they call it BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE" I told her "that would make the movie BEETLEJUICE 3"
I'm wondering if that's Charles, Jeffrey Jones character, being lowered into that grave. And perhaps the reason Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) aren't there is because they've decided to accompany him into the afterlife and help him get processed through the bureaucracy they had to deal with themselves in the first movie. Because of the time dilation difference between the afterlife and the living world, they aren't going to be around to help when ol' Beetlejuice gets loose again.
If they titled part 2 like this, they have to do a part 3, then the title would be what you say to summon him. Shhhh......I refuse to say his name, because I don't want to take any chances......LMAO
