@@Michael-ei5hg I disagree. Because people still know about Beet and the Howard stern show. If it isn’t preserved in thousands of years it will be lost and forgotten. That’s the point I was making. I know that times have already changed and we can currently look back on this and see how great things once were. But they aren’t forgotten.

Only 20 years ago. Unfiltered, in your face humor. Didn't pull any punches. There was a time when the Stern show was reaching 20 million fans, and it was required listening. I remember mornings driving to work, sitting and traffic, and Artie makes some crack at Beetlejuice or Gilbert Gottfried was sitting in on the news, and I'd see all the people in the cars around me laughing at exactly the same time. That's a special thing, and it was lightning in a bottle, when we all didn't take ourselves so damn seriously that, maybe, here and there, it was ok to laugh at ourselves.
I’m a middle lefty politics wise and think this is needed in the world. And I feel so bad for comedians that can’t even make a joke anymore without getting canceled. The world has become so angry in the last few years it’s scary

He was put in a group home, then either the people from the group home, his parents, or both forbade him from being on the show. I contacted the show recently and asked if they could maybe get him back on the show. A staff member responded to me and told me that he would talk to another staff member about it, but I never heard anything else about it.

It's not like Howard, Bill & Robin are really laughing "with" these these guys. He's rightly embarrassed by some of the things he used to do. I'm about as opposite to an easily triggered PC sjw as you're going to find and even I found this a bit cringy.
Because they are openly being vile and taking the piss at the expense of physical and mental disabilities, not for comedic value but for their own pleasure! Wich is sickening. These guys ain't in on the joke at all! They laughing along lime they know what's going on but they dont and that is abuse and taking advantage, these guys and anyone who thinks this is funny is immoral. Dont get it twisted though, The things Beetlejuice and Gary say are funny, and it's ok to laugh at that, but it is not ok to laugh at the way they look (they do do this multiple times) or at their mental capacity. Thi gst like this should never have flown because it is open abuse towards vulnerable people!

I'm not saying these guys ain't funny, I am saying that the hosts are taking advantage of clearly vulnerable people and taking the piss out if physical appearances. Let's put the short on the other foot, imagine one of these people being abused was your child or a loved family member? Would you think 90% of what is being said is funny? I doubt it...

Howard Stern is a genius. Only he can bring a 'self proclaimed intelligent' and pretentious person like Bill Maher and make him look like a moron in his show.
