I love this designer's sense of humor and her designs! The tactile elements are interesting and tons of hidden storage make for a beautifully streamlined space.
As soon as I see your name on a project, I know it's going to be a winner! You really have an inherent sense of what's best for each space you design. Lucky residents to have this amazing transformation done for them by Emilia.
Emilia knocks it out of the park as usual! Her humour and joy in bringing her clients' vision to light is contagious. What I really appreciate is her dedication to the functionality of a home -she makes it beautiful while ensuring it is livable😻 Could future videos in this channel include the floor plan, that would make it even easier to visualize.
YESS I would LOVE to see that. Seeing how she comes up with the most amazing solutions for the spaces she’s working with from the very beginning-literally just on paper-would be fascinating. Her creative process results in something pretty perfect every time, so it would be cool to get a peak into what said creative process looks like!
Usually love this designer but am I only one who found it a little weird she didn't mount the TVs and sound bars on the wall? Made the rooms seem a bit dated out the gate to me.... also didn't love those particular floating shelves in the kitchen
Not a fan of all the brown in main living area. Pretty much what the new builds in Australia have. I didn't like anything I saw but the owners love it, that's all that matters.
This designer is really annoying everytime she is on. The design is terrible. Stop replacing upper kitchen cabinets with shelves! People do not live like that!
As always Emilia doesn't disappoint! She is a master on creatively transforming a space, and give functional solutions to a living space. She always takes in consideration the life style of her clients and the flow of the interaction, making the most of the space. Other thing I love about Emilia is the way she describes the choices in the renovation without repeating "beautiful", "amazing", etc. which speaks about the thoughtfulness with elections. Not just beautiful to be beautiful. My favorite designer!
The real challenge with any of these remodels is not the space itself, but the people in the space. A space that looked crowded and cluttered before the renovation, will look the same a couple months down the road if occupied by the same people.
Agreed! Not only does the space need remodeling/reconfiguring, but so do the occupants! The before picture of that picture-cluttered refrigerator said it ALL!! Hopefully this amazing remodel will allow them to alter their mindset to what constitutes a beautiful living space!
No wonder Emilia is my favorite interior designer. Finally a tv that is the Correct Height and not overly high. She’s smart enough not to put the fireplace below the tv. Beautiful work
There is no wow in this space. Cons are floor to ceiling storage in the hallway and floor to ceiling tiling in the bathroom. Free standing tub in the bathroom is a wrong decision, open shelves in the kitchen is a wrong decision, tiles should go all way up, at least. Lighting is terrible with the potlights. Potlights should be banned. Linear is a way to go, at least. No need to show before, who really care. Sorry, not impressed.
Totally see what you’re saying…but a couple of times-just from the way she was saying certain things regarding the “whys” behind some choices made-it seemed like the homeowners had a decent amount of non-negotiable that she of course had no choice but to work around. But totally agree with you-when she’s free to do her own thang and given pretty free reign from her client after she gets the main ideas/wants of theirs, she does some of the most amaaazing work!
Great job! It is interesting to see how these new condo renovations in Toronto are similar to what renovated condos in Brazil looked like at least a decade ago. The built-ins in the bedroom are a snapshot of a bedroom in a middle to upper class condo in Brazil.
