What a great find for $20. Thanks for showing us what can be accomplished with a pair of quality thrifted men's shoes. Keep up the great videos Bob. Your channel helps many of us, understand the road we need to be on, in the confusing world of men's shoes. Number one rule I've learned: Just say no to square toes!
Your shoe polishing technique is near identical to mine! Many people apply their creams and waxes with brushes but I find that's what makes polishing very messy. When you apply it with your finger, while your finger does it get dirty.. it's so much more controlled, so much so that polishing has become a very clean and tidy process, no need for old clothes and messy mats!
Am I correct in thinking, when you stripped off the black you also stripped the Bordeaux cream conditioner? You then went straight on with gloss polish?
1. If they fit someone I know and they want them, sell them them usually for whatever I have in them plus lunch at Chipotle. 2. Put them on eBay or the rogue exchange.com. These pair sold on eBay already, and I’ve got 2 or 3 other pairs on the brogue exchange.com for sale for fairly cheap.
I'd need more info... feel free to email me at robertpowers1972 at gmail dot com with photos of the insole logo, of all of the numbers on the lining, and of the sole and I'm sure I can narrow it down. Also check out this video if you want to know the approximate date of them: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lcx0eq-S-eY.html www.issuu.com also has almost every AE catalog going back to the 1960's or 1950's.
