To make your own custom I have a list below of all the items needed in this video!

Here are the steps:
Remove Laces
Tape off Tongue (If paint gets on the tongue it will bleed, hard to remove)
Use acetone on areas you want to paint, apply until you see paint removing.
paint desired areas of sneaker, for BRED TOE paint swoosh, eyelets, and toe areas.
Air dry or use heat gun to dry.
use MATTE finishing spray to finalize the sneaker, let sit overnight before wear. (also SPRAY OUTSIDE the fumes are rough)
Lace up and enjoy!

I regret not getting more than 1 pair. U can do chicagos breds & black toes so easily. Less than < $200 for each pair instead of ridiculous over $2k for all 3.

They’re super cheap on goat. Practically retail for my size. These bricked hard so it’s an easy cop. Resellers aren’t getting much out of this shoe so it’s possible to get em on tradeblock if you got sneakers laying around you think you could trade

It depends on how much paint you apply, as well as the quality of it. Obviously some pain from mf dollar tree won't last long, you just gotta be willing to spend the extra cash

I have a pair of bred toes and I honestly like the white tongue more. I had to swap my laces out for white because I think black laces are too much black on the black tongue, but red laces are too much red with the red toes.

Not so clean customization. You didn't paint the raised side of leather at all. Do it properly or don't attempt at all.

The one think I hate about this release is that people literally copped it just to customize into “Travis”, “Bred Toes”, “Breds”, “Black Toes” and etc. Ruined it for people that actually like the shoe for what it is. Luckily I copped 2 pairs for retail but sucks for others especially since everybody “hated” and said the shoe was “ugly” Yea, I’d love to have pairs of the Breds, Black toes and etc. but those will eventually Retro AGAIN. Just like every other OG colorway

How could you not have simply painted the edge of the swoosh and do small touch-ups on the toe area, or maybe even dyed the tongue in black?! It's not a lot of effort to do those 3 things.

Needs a little more finesse, but other than that it turned out good. I bet Vick Almighty from Reshoevn8r can airbrush and diy the colors any make it into a legit bread or Chicago.
