Just letting you know, I do watch your videos. It’s fascinating and interesting to check out the elevators. I’d do the very same thing you do, these are very cool. I have done my own exploring and riding on elevators. Checked out a few machine rooms too, had a close call once exploring a machine room, we thought we were the only ones in the building until the motor started up, we beat it down the ladder and out of the room, they never did come up, they selected a floor under us, lol. I’ve done lots of exploring. Keep up the cool videos of the neat elevators. Oh, got to run a very old haughton manual elevator. There’s still a few in my town. Love your elevator videos!
It would've been even cooler if they'd left the elevators alone... but, as we know, that is seldom done. But Otis did a great job here and the building looks very nice too.
I remember I visited a brand new small apartment building that was built near where I live and they gave me permission to look around and the elevator wasnt an otis it was actually a really nice brand new schindler but it was still on its installation process so it had the protective coating on the walls
15:50 I was thinking that directory had lights behind it and it changed along with the indicator that would be a cool thing to add but Im just giving an opinion because I never seen elevators that old before

Wow, the manufacturers really gave up on the floor counters, didn't they? They all seem to like that boring, unreliable glitch-fest ACME floor counters.
