I love it when a boxer gets beaten, gives props and moves on. No boxer gets in the ring half ready, they put in work and when they get their ass beat, a real boxer gives props to the winner. Much respect to Davis, he's doing his thing and his opponents are giving him his props after. And he does too! Real recognize real!
Your absolutely right in your post but also I love boxing and knew quite a few growing up in Philly. Like a trainer once said "with love and respect but you got to be special kind of stupid to wanna make a living getting punched in the face..."
Sam thats the way a champion would did it .Tank isn't worthy of a intelligent interview like Floyd not much more than boxing and money.hopefully he will grow.
You can tell Tank loves to fight. Whenever he's getting ready and talking about it in the fight conferences he be smiling like he's talking to a pretty girl.
@@maxdominguez8589 So because he fought that 1 dude that you think should've been a draw, how does that mean he doesn't like to fight? I mean your comment missed the point and is entirely irrelevant to what I stated.
Laughed so hard when after the fight Pedraza's corner explained their strategy and Jim Gray with a straight face basically said "That $h&tty fight plan didn't work at all..."
Tank continues to get better and better each fight. His power at that size is unmatched. His potential continues to be very scary for the next opponent.
I cornered for 15 years for three world champions and I have never seen power like this at 130 or 140. Perfect hooks and uppercuts and he can switch sides and throw the right hook. I would do that. It's very effective.
Gervonta Davis is one of my favourite boxers of all time. The man is just incredible, AND so entertaining to watch. I'll also never miss a Motivedia Presentation...
The way the fight was going, there was no way tank would have lost the fight if they went the whole 12 rounds....don't kid yourself.....it was probably better for you being put to sleep than fight on...
Agreed, but I think it’s funny how his haters always point out his apparent lack of a “gas tank/conditioning.” Strange, I’ve never seen him tired in a single fight.
People that don't watch him fight just assume that with his power comes the flaw of a weak gas tank. If they watch him fight then they will see the boxing skill and endurance. My favorite fighter right now. He has the heart and skills.
Tank is and will continue to be a problem for future fighters. He's definitely shown he can take on anything that comes his way. He's certainly improved on his defense because offensively that's not the problem.
i didn't know barrios and didn't expect much from him but man was i wrong he did very well behind the jab tank had to work hard to get in but when tank landed it landed hard
@@amgfresh154 Barrios is trash bro he wasnt even at a prospect level either and josh taylor didnt duck him he didnt even know barrios was in fact nobody knew who barrios was he only got fame because he got cherry picked by the TMT
I said it when he was just coming into the game that once he harnesses his mental capacity and fight for the sport to be a champion he was going to be a problem. His nickname “Tank” fits him, imagine what he’s going to be like in a couple more years with power, strategy, and calm? Yes he’s arrived!!
Lol. I grew up watching mike. I have granddaughters. I watched his rise and fall. Watched the way he treated people. Especially woman. Things he’s not proud of and the great thing is he came out of it a better man. However it doesn’t take away the things he’s done that he has to live with. Hopefully people learn from all aspects of his life. So when I JOKE about that stuff. I hope people don’t forget all aspects of Tyson. The human. The not so great Side and the great side.
@@cmo1851 imagine being 20 years old and on top of the world with millions of dollars and on the cover of every magazine. Cameras following your every move. No 20 yr old can handle that shit. I'm sure you did shit when you were 20 that you regret but you didn't have the entire world watching your every move like tyson. Girls throwing themselves at you guys trying to use you. It's easy to judge but it's hard to try and understand.
Was literally wondering when you were gonna upload a tank vid.. Tank recently has continued to show power alongside his smarts & chin... I feel in the future he is certainly able to take on the likes of Taylor, Haney,Garcia & Lopez
My favorite fighter of all time already…. Watched his last 4 fights and every one was better than the next. He has so much upside still and I truly think he can climb to top 3 p4p and remain there till retirement
@@rohanjoseph9829 make a lot of sense they’re not that far apart in height the only difference is weight Naoya would just have to steadily move up in weight
not really. He mocked a downed man in the ring. That's low class, not high class. Davis will lose one day. Unless he retires early. Only one guy has an undefeated record in all of boxing.
Tank is over rated. he still ducking the best fights.. has yet to fight a top 5 talent around his weight. but ya dumbazz casuals will only CAP on Teo, Ryan & Haney for not fighting a big name even though they 5 years younger than Tank..lol
“If Davis thought Santa Cruz was gonna fold” Santa Cruz proceeds to get knocked out before he could finish the rest of that sentence. Always gonna find that funny as hell. Tank is just a problem, it’s as simple as that.
Lurvey I know you heard Al Bernstein's punk azz say, "OH MY" after that uppercut! I believe some of these commentors have stock in or promote fighters. But some of the comments they make leads me to think that there's still alot of prejudice and racism going on in boxing. Some of the posters on this site are hard pressed to give TANK his due.
@@cliftonrouse9400 Honestly I do hear the argument for the racism and prejudice but I can also see the argument where people will say he hasn’t truly been tested. He is clearly leagues above most boxers that he has faced. Pedraza, Santa Cruz, and Barrios were good tests in my opinion. Solid boxers who were winning before they ran into Davis. He needs another big name, sort of like how Lopez fought Loma.
@@LurveyBeazer1 True dat. I think he can take it to the house. Speed, good foot work, good defense, southpaw, solid chin, can be aggressive or counter puncher, adaptability and # 1 asset 1 punch 👊 KO power in both hands. Oh yeah, did I mention he's trained and promoted F.M.MAYWEATHER?
@@cliftonrouse9400 All FACTS. Everyone wants to see him fight Ryan Garcia for whatever reasons. “King Ry”, though entertaining as he may be, would get utterly destroyed.
@@LurveyBeazer1 Again, yo bro. it's refreshing to hear someone else on these post, who has that quiet MACHISMO! Keep it coming brother! Go ahead, step out on FAITH and make that youtube channel that's been floating around in that big ole' brain 🧠 of yours! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! In JESUS'S mighty NAME, AMEN!
His first few opponents made the mistake of thinking he was a Floyd-type fighter. I can imagine what they were thinking once the punches started flying.
@@seand7042 Yup, a young Floyd was a powerful counterpuncher who threw combos that knocked you out before even you blinked. I think it was after the fact that he realized his hands were crumbling (I think either he was diagnosed with brittle bones or something like that) that he opted for the safer counterpunching style replacing combos with quick 1-2s and the odd powershot.
Tank literally is Mike Tyson and Mayweather combined. Extra ordinary power and a thinker in the ring. That Santa Cruz uppercut was text book perfect. And the Barrios fight for did nothing see that being stopped. Barrios was much bigger but Tanks power must be respected and you can’t avoid it. Kids really good but we’ll see. People like Thurman will be a true test.
He gets caught more than Mayweather ever did and he's eventually gonna get caught and knocked out. He's a good fighter but he's nowhere near as good of a defensive fighter as Mayweather who rarely ever got caught by someone. He has a totally different style than tyson.
@@user-ig8vm1ns4t that's why I said "eventually"....his career is just starting. I could be wrong, maybe he is a once in a generation talent and can get away with what he does. I doubt it but I've been wrong before
Gervonta Davis remind me of Roy Jones Jr. in the Prime, but less movement & more power behind his punch’s. He really sticks people with hard accurate shots.
I died when Tank said, "What that mean?" When dude said he's an Aztecaaaaaa...🤣😂🤣😂 Reminded when Broner said he was doin it for the hood when he went up against Pac-Man ... Azteca's and the hood can't help you in the ring 😂🤣😂🤣
Perfect Timing Motivedia Happy to have here with us again. Welcome Home. Thank You. 1 more thing before you go... Bud vs Porter coming 😏😏 King Crocodile Shakur coming Boots Ennis coming 🔥🔥🔥 Thanks Again!!! Keep Up Beautiful Work
Definitely that's why people love him so much but let's see how that power does against the elite guys. Tank is definitely must see tv but Floyd and them have to start pushing him and believing in him. Cause imo he can beat any of those top guys.
@@hannablethuhprince7528 um no, he did not say that, he said if it went all 12 rounds he thinks he would have a chance to win, he knew he wouldn't get a knock out but lets be honest, he can out preform
My favorite and top most exciting fighter to watch for the last few years 💯 This man is definitely A Hall of Famer at what 23 yrs old or so we are watching history 🥊👑💯🔥
GERVONTA IS THE NEXT LEVEL HANDS DOWN...THAT BOY IS SKILLED, QUICK AND POWERFUL! BARRIOS IS A DAM GOOD FIGHTER...LOVE THE HUMBLENESS! BEST FIGHT IN YEARS!
@@montbrink4700 you don’t think Loma or Teofimo would take that fight in a second? Mayweather already made it clear they gonna “keep it in house” just having him fight PBC fighters that they promote as they keep building him up for money fights rather than seeking out the real best champions.
"Santa Cruz walked on to a hellacious bomb that left him prone in the corner." something about that whole sequence was just hilarious to me. Hell of a fighter and hell of a video. Well done.
Not holding my breath. Most fighters today fight for money and not legacy. We will never see someone with over 150 professional fights again. Rip to the greats.
Tank might fight Loma when his legs start going in about ten years but I could never see him fighting Lopez, Teo just getting better and better and more dangerous.
@Terry O'Conman ducked them? Bro none of them are even 25 yet 😂😂 if you don’t understand when they finally do meet he will be the bigger PPV draw and the A side at that point.. Nobody at 135 fought each other but Loma and Lopez so you point really makes no sense
@@spyrs1743 ducking who? So who is Ryan ducking? Haney? Only two to fight was Loma and Lopez.. why wait around when he wan collect belts and PPV buys in different divisions..
