Which one would you choose? The stock fender or the rear fender removed.
Before and After. Stock Fender Vs Rear fender delete on a Triumph Bobber
Full walkaround of the stock fender or stock mudguard as we call it here on a Triumph Bobber and a full walkaround of the motorcycle with the rear fender delete completed.
I used Kellerman Attos with a November Customs light mount and a Motone Customs plug and play wiring loom to complete this custom rear fender eliminator kit.

Whilst I love the look without fender - not sure how practical it is. I’ve just put a tail tidy on mine (+ pico lights) and looks a lot better

I agree with you 100%. I got caught in the rain without the fender and my back was soaked instantly... also the bike was the dirtiest its ever been in no time. I wouldn't recommend no fender to someone who uses it everyday. Love those Pico lights, im debating whether to replace the front them or the atto's

@@britishbobber I have the picos in front too - easy install and looks neat compared to the originals. Didn’t know about the attos, but they look similar. Motone bringing out fork shrouds with built in mounts for picos- will probably go for that. (Also see some have put motogadget turn signals in bar ends)

Those fork mounts sound good. Do you know when they will release them? Ive looked at the bar end indicators but it seems they are an awful lot of work on the stock handlebars a lot easier on aftermarket bars though as they are usually hollow.

Love the look of a bare back end, but not sure I want a soaked arse!! Considering the short Motone guard, and love the idea of a fatter tyre. More money I don't have!! 🤣

Haha I'm with you 💯 pretty expensive hobby 😭. I wonder how much of a difference the shorter mudguards actually make though with the spray on back... would love to know???

Personally l'm not a fan of removing the rear gaurd completely. I prefer the shortened modified look. There was a guy on RU-vid who fitted a 180 size tyre on the rear that looked a lot better & no modification needed 👍

I was toying with the idea of putting a shortened rear mudguard on quite like the motone razor rear fender and @novembercustoms hand crafted one. Did the guy with the 180 tyre have a fender?

@@britishbobber Yes he did, apparently the after market one that he intended to install wouldn't fit but the factory one cleared fine so he modified that. 180 70 16 Try looking it up 👍

@user-vj2ic6wu7w ah ok, not sure about the cut down guards. I'm a massive fan of thorntonhundred motorcycles and what they do. None have rear fenders, just fatter wheels. The bigger tyre is definitely a must

Also mate, does changing the 'type' after fitting 3-1's effect the stock indicator?
@britishbobber

I'm not sure if I've understood this properly. I took the stock indicators off the back aswell mate. The pulse rate was effected, but that was a quick fix in the settings menu. I have a full installation video on my channel that goes through the whole thing or I can try and add more to your question if im on the wrong lines. Let me know

@britishbobber sorry mate. I thought you still had stock front indicators. Wondered if changing the settings for the rear 3-1's affected the fronts as stock. If that makes sense? Thanks
@britishbobber

@graemeneedham5899 ah yes ok that makes more sense now. I did still have stock front indicators on back then and the only thing that changed was the pulse rate, thats an easy fix though in the settings menu. Other than that the 3 in 1s had no impact on the front stock indicators. They all flashed in time with each other as normal

@@britishbobber thanks, my first comment made no sense because I had commented on another video and thought it was yours, which is why it started with 'also'. Thanks mate.
