Before Hitting Driver, Do This for 5 Seconds 

Todd, I usually enjoy your great instructional videos. But come on, man. Why does it take 7 minutes and 5 seconds of video to give a tip that we should do for 5 seconds? Way too long, sir.

Experimenting with shaft angle is a great idea. Also, though, I found I need to do just as much experimenting with my set up with distance to the ball. i.e. play with these 1. my set up distance to ball with driver head just behind the ball on the ground, 2. distance while hovering the clubhead just behind the club head and 3. distance with the driver head some 8-10 inches behind the ball. Playing around with these variables and the angle that you elaborate on to find your particular groove = bingo, could change your golf 100% very fast. p.s. Weight always bit left (forward) at set up works for me for all clubs incl. driver.

Todd question- In a previous lesson you mentioned hovering the driver. Can you clarify hovering versus this lesson? Roswell Ga

Can you use this for a 3 wood and even hybrids? For me I can only hit a 3 wood pure if I lift the shaft angle like so.

I’m From Rushford, NY I purchased both the max vert and the 22 degree fairway wood. Took them out of the bag because I can’t hit either one, soo disappointed

Can you use this drill for iron’s to get a more in to out swing?

I hit driver high will having the shaft more vertical help me. My normal ball flight is pretty straight, my miss is left.

Could agree more with Todd I see hundreds of golf videos on RU-vid but pass them by as I don’t want to spend 10-15 minutes to hear something that takes less than two minutes.

I have purchased a Maxvert driver and a Yuma chipper and I like them although the chipper is not as good as the driver. Maybe I am not using it right. Anyway, I am interested in the hybrid clubs but I don't like the "extras" you get with them. Same with the putter. I don't like that I have to cancel the birdie club within 7 days or be charged $49+. It just seems like a gimmick to me. Why can't I just buy the clubs without the other stuff?
