I made the same mistake 😂. I didn't realise that I didn't tell you my own story. They didn't even start till afternoon. My appointment was at around 10am but I left there by 6pm. I strolled in there a couple of minutes to 10am to join a queue that had started since like 6:30am. Ps. The €30 is a processing fee that goes directly to the Embassy in Paris as opposed to the passport fees you pay that goes to immigration. You pay an extra processing fee for anything you do at the embassy.

Please did they ask for your NIN before applying? I am trying to apply for my passport renewal and they requested for my NIN, i could not continue 😢

No, things have changed between then and now There’s a new passport booklet so maybe that’s why You can also apply for nin in france. I’m not sure of the process though

@@de_honors5910 try calling them over and over till they pick up. If not, if you live close to Paris you can go there as early as 7am

Ah This is the same question someone just asked me this morning. I don’t know if the renewal process has changed but I didn’t need all that. I just filled the form, paid and booked appointment

@@WalkwithMideNancy that should be common sense to know that NigEmbassies are full of drama for you to think you could make it on time is like expecting honey while milking a cow! it should not be a learning curve expect you were new to living abroad and dealing with embassies.
