Hi Lindsay, hope you are well. Your story about the fly reminds me … many years ago our club was fishing on Menteith and our boat was doing ok but as it was for the club champion we wanted to do more. One boat of ours in front seemed to catching or getting more offers so when they motored back up we shouted to ask what fly was doing the damage. Blue Jay Matuka they shouted and that got a response that was not very gentlemanly … and we ignored them. At the weigh in we asked to see the fly … and it was … a blue Jay Matuka!!! Atb Jim
